Nancy "Total Failure" Pelosi: Flying, Fickle Finger of Fate Points at YOU!!!

Nancy "Total Failure" Pelosi has to be the dumbest woman to ever be regarded as a "leader" in this country. Yes, she is the only woman Speaker of the House we have ever had (if we base future decisions on her, she should be the last woman Speaker of the House), but I mean "leader" in a much broader sense than that. There is a case to be made that "Total Failure" Pelosi is the dumbest woman who eve3r lived. I know. That would be hyperbole again, and I can hardly back that assertion up literally. Still, the woman is stupid. The only thing that keeps her from appearing as stupid as she is is that so many House Democrats, and members of the mainstream media, appear almost as stupid.


This caused a problem for the judges evaluating where this week's spinning, Flying Fickle Finger on Fate ponted at the end of the week. As you should know, this blog's weekly Flying, Fickle Finger of Fate award, represented by the statuette of a pointing INDEX finger, is this blog's unauthorized reincarnation of the old "Laugh In" award for conspicuous stupidity/evil that came to light in the previous week.


The problem for the judges is that, as wilth MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, and the "Anti-American, Despicable Associated Press, the spinning Finger hesitates every week in the direction of "Total Failure" Pelosi. It is hard for the judges to tell whether the Finger is pointing out some new, special stupidity on her part, or is merely confirming the "lifetime achievement award". Even though there is almost always a new stupidity that could justify the award, the judges refuse to give the award to "Total Failure" Pelosi every week, and have some trouble figureing out whether the Finger is really marking "Total Faioure" Pelosi for the kind of special NEW stupdity in the week of that special kind worth of the Finger.


This week, however, the judges had no doubt. "Total Failure" Pelosi distinguished herself so greatly on that "pork/large earmark bill" that passed the House that no one else attracted the Finger this week (depite worthy efforts that might have gotten on the Finger's radar in other weeks). The Finger stopped early this week pointing at Pelosi, and never wavered all the rest of the week. Oops!!! Correction: I have been told that the "official" description of the House passed bill was the "Obama stimulus package". You could have fooled me (and almost everyone else, although the mainstream media was missing in action--as usual).


What can you say about a woman that wants $155 million for "family planning" (bailout of Planneed Parenthood) in a "stimulus" bill, and defends it as important to the economy? About a woman who backs off of that embarrassment only after a special request from Barack "World" Obama? About a woman who left $335 million in the bill for "education" on sexually transmitted diseases? About a woman who included every pork item ever desired lby Democrats in this massive pork "stimulus" bill, including things like $70 milllion for anti-smoking efforts (Are we still subsidizing tobacco farmers?), and some $100 or $50 (or whatever) million dollars for "climate coputer modelers" (a gruup really suffering an unemployment crisis--not)?


How bad was this bill? Even Obama and the mainstream media seemed to be looking toward the Seante to save the country from this massive pork expansion of the Federal Government. Think how bad that is. It is the Senat Republicans who rolled over and tamelly passed the DEMOCRAT pork version of that first Paulson bailout (the versiion that even included money for ACORN). John McCain sealed his doom by supporting that ridiculous Democrat bailout bill (Paulson and Bush were bad enough, but hte Democrats insisted on adding pork to a bill which was, in fact, a blank check for Paulson and the Treasury Secretary who succeeded Paulson).


Yes, it is this Senate to which the country is looking to save the counntry from Nancy "Total Failure" Pelosi, and that ridiculous House bill (a bill that shows that Democrats can, too, spend more money thatn President Bush and the Republicans, despite opinions that it was impossible). In another example of why it was good for conservatives, and for the country, that John McCain lost, Repubican Senators might actually stand in the way of the Obama stimulus bil (as they would not have done as to a McCain/Democrat stimulus bill that would have been smilar). It is amazing how partisan maneuvering trumps principle in Washignton, especially if you are a Repubilcan Senator with no principles to start with. (Yes, I would say that Democrats have shown more principles in recent eyars, but they are all BAD principles reflected in this Pelosi "stimulus" pork bill in the HOuse--the main Democratic principle being an absolute love affair with Big Government).


Nope. There is just no doubt. "Total Failure" Pelosi earned the Finger this week, if only in her total ineptness in failing to conceal how bad this bill is (her fellow Democrats wanting the spending, but probably with more finesse).


Award ceremony (again, as usual, entirely in the imagination--a virtual ceremony without any vido or graphics at all, which is why I recommend using the image of Dick Martin presenting the award on "Laugh In" solely as a visual aid, even though Dick Martin obviously has no connection with this award):


Imagine Dick Martin thrusting the Finger at the camera and saying: "Nancy "Total Failure" Pelosi, this is for you. You deserve it. You are managing to set feminism back a hundred years, almost single handedly, even with the media on your side. That takes major talent."
