Andrea Mitchell is a whore. She proved it, today or yesterday, on MSNBC (I heard clip). Of course, I am not saying Andrea Michell is out there engaging in the world's oldest profession. That kind of whore can sometimes give honest service, although I do not endorse the profession. And there is no doubt that women throughout the ages have been virtually forced into the profession--sometimes literally.
Nope. Andrea Mitchell is not an honest whore. She is a (figurative) whore by choice, without an intellectually honest bone in her body (as is true of everyone at MSNBC).
What am I talking about? You know how the people at MSNBC, and leftists in general, are always concerned about "the law". It does not matter how minor the violation. If a Republican has violed "the law", then that person should go to jail--at least retire in disgrace from political life. Remember Larry Craig, who merely plead guilty to a misdemeanor? Remember Valerie Plame, where no crime ever occurred (Scooter's Libby's "crime" was created by the stupid investigation, and no one was ever even charged with regard to "outing" Valerie lPlame)? Remember when the media tried to make so much out of Mitt Romney using a gardening service who hired illegal aliens? The mind boggles at what that whore, Andrea Mithcell, would have said if Mitt Romney had actually hired an illegal nanny, and failed to pay social security taxes. Remember the attempt to say Sarah Palin violated "the law" in "troopergate", and the even more ridiculous attempt to say that Sarah Palin was evading "the law" by having a private email account (that email account that was hacked by that son ov a Democratic politician)? Yes, you do not have to be a woman to be a whore. The men and women of Politico.com are lying whores, as this blog has shown in previous entries (Politico.ccom benig one of the outfits pushing that ridiculous Palin email assertion).
Well, Andrea Michell was talking to some Democratic and/or Obama Administration person on MSNBC. That person suggested to Ms. Mitchell that we are preventing good people from getting into government--specifically people to help Treasury Secretary Geitner on the economy, where admittedly he needs all of the help he can get (incompetent fool that he is). This Democratic person suggested that we are making too much of "minor" misconduct of the kind of which most people are guilty sometimes in their life. He specifically referred to the "nanny problem", and failijng to pay taxes (on nannies and otherwise). Again, we do know that this is a very common problem for Democrats (paying taxes, that is). Democrats--including Geintner himself in ways that go way beyond social security taxes for "nannies"--do not seem to regard it as wrong to violate "the law" as far as taxes are concerned.
This is where Andrea Mithcell was exposed as a total, intellectual whore. She said something like: "Are you saying that the media is making too much of these minor indiscretions when this country has important problems? Well, I plead "guilty' to that charge."
A whore is what she is. Would she have ever said that to a Republican defending Mitt Romney, if Mitt Romney had broken "the law" in the same way? If you believe that, then I still have a supply of bridges in Brooklyn in my inventory. I can sell you one. I keep this inventory of Brooklyn Bridges to sell just for people stupid enough to believe leftists are being honest on this kind of thing.
Remember VP Cheney? MSNBC spent a WEEK trying to suggest he violated "the law" in a mere hunting accident. Keith Olbermann exposed himself then as a worse whore than any woman who has ever literally engaged in the profession. Olbermann was even such a whore as to get a Democratic Texas lawyer on TV to suggest that any ordinary person would be referred to a grand jury in Cheney's situation. WHORE. As a Texas lawyer, I can tell you that was an outright, despicable, outrageous LIE.
You say times are different now, and that we can't keep to the old "standards" that applied to Republicans? WHORE. If you say that, you are as big a whore as Andrea Mitchell. Is the present economic situation really more important than the War on Terror, or even the War in Iraq? Remember 9/11? Nope. It has to do with favoring Democrats, and disfavoring Republicans.
You will be surprised to learn I agree with Andrea Mitchell about the medai being "guilty" I am just consistent, while she is a whore (for Obama and Democrats). I don't think a person--whether Mitt Romney or a Democrat--should be disqualified from public office by failing to pay social security taxes for a maid or nanny. I don't think Larry Craig did anything much wrong such as to require him to resign from the Senate. I think a few instances of "waterboarding" were minor stuff--right or wrong--in the whole 9/11 aftermath. I don't think that President Bush's NSA surveillance program, after 9/11, was a big deal--whether it violated "the law" or not. I do think Geitner systematically violated tax law to the extent that he has no business being Treasury Secretary. But he got away with it. The bottom line is that I think, and have said repeatedly in this blog, that I believe that we have to get out of this "gotcha" mentality on human frailty.

I do think Nancy "Total Failure" Pelosi has shown herself unqualified to be dogcatcher (much less Speaker of the House) by demanding that the military have the plane of her choice available to her at any time of the day or night. And I don't even know of any law that "Total Failure" Pelosi has violated.
Remember all of those attempts by the mainstream media, and Democrats, to "prove" that Karl Rove violated "the law". Did they care whether any violations were "minor". Not on your life.
