Illegal Immigration Deception: President Obama Lies Again

This, i think, dates back to the end of last week (so many lies--so little time to keep up with them, mcuh less to report on them all in this blog). President Obama made one of those statements whre he purporsts to "sovle" a problem, and regards the problem as "sovlved" the moment Obama makes the statement (regardless of whethr the prolem is actually "solved" at all). President Obama noted that the wages of American workers are kept down by employers hiring illegal aliens--not to mention the jobs taken from American workers. Therefore, Obama promised a "crackdown" on employers who hire illegal aliens. I think Obama even added some eyewash about illegal aliens having to go back to Mexico before they would ever be able to be admitted to the U.S.--the same kind of deception that gave rise to the more than FIFTRY entries in this blog under the general heading of "illegal immigration deception". This entry, however, is limited to the Obama statement about a "crackdown" on employers. Why is that statement nothing but deception?


For the answer to this question, you have to go back to the belated attempt by the Bush Administration to actaully enforce the immigration laws, and the laws against hiring illegal immigrants. As detailed in this blog over the past two or more YEARS, the Federal Govrernment already matches social security numbers and names, as employers have to send the social security numbers and names of employees to the government (in connection with social security tax payments to the government). That means that it is very difficult to hire an illegal alien and conceal it from the Federal Government, so long as you are complying with the law (as and employer) and turning in the social security withholding (and matching employer amont) to the U.S. government.


Thus, it should be EASY to STOP illegal immigrants from working at any substantial job in this country. But what was happening? Well, the Federal Government computers would note a discrpancy on the employer report of socisal secrurity payments--a discrepancy between the number and the name. Sometimes, the social security number would simply be obviously fraudulent. However, this would NOT result in an ICE agent showing up at the employer's door. Instead, the employer might be sent a LETTER. My brother got a few of thos. That letter would note the discrepancy. But the employer could throw the letter in the waste basket, since nothing would be done.


The Bush Administrationi (finally) proposed regulations to change this disgraceful betrayal of American workers. That was the phrase I used in this blog ("betrayal of American workers"), and President Obama has CONFIRMED I was right about that--confirming that hiring illegal immigrants REDUCES WAGES (as well as jobs) for American workers legally in this country. The Bush Administration proposed to "crack down" on employers. The letters were READY to be sent out to employers that they had to ACT on a notice of a discrepancy i reported social security numbers of employees, or they would face penalties.


You can go back to the blog archives for what happened. The ACLU aand the AFL-CIO (in a direct BETRAYAL of American workers, per Obama, and per this blog at the time) filed suit in a San Francisco court.to STOP the Bush Administration from using this effective means of ELIMINATING the hiring of illegal immigrants in this country (at lest, the hiring of such immigrants by respectable employers who actually withoold and make social security payments on behalf of employees). The San Francisco Federal judge BLOCKED the implementation of the proposed Bush Administration action. The Bush Administration action was OPPOSED by the same people who support Obama, and ARE the Obama Administration. Illegal immigrant "advocates" do NOT want to effectively stop illegal immigrants from getting jobs. You are deluded if you thinkk that the Obama Administration is going to do what Obama allies STOPPED the Bush Administration from doing.


Nowe segue to recent weeks (see archives of this blog, again). The Obama Adminstration has SUSPENDED those RAIDS on employers, where illegal immigrant workers were deported. Further, the Obama Adminstratioin has advocated a policy that illegal immigrants are ENTITLED to a lawyer before such a person can be deported. The message was clear. The Obama Adminstration does not want to deport ANYONE, and certainly does not want to put real pressure on both illegal aliens and employers the way the Bush Adminstration was (belatedly) trying to do.


Yes, I AGREE with Obama. This is a BETRAYAL of American workers. The AFL-CIO and the ACLU BETRAYED American workers. President Obama has BETRAYED American workers. Democrats, who did nothing to help the Bush Amdinistration crack down on employers and gave every indication of opposing same, have BETRAYED American workers. We have Obama as a source for this, once you realize that Obama's WORDS say one thing and his (and Democrat) ACTIONS say another.


What does this "crackdown" on employers mean? It means that President Obama intends to do the same thing that TheCliton Adminsitration did, to NO effect in terms of protecting American workers. Persident Obama intends to prosecute/fine a FEW American employers in high profile cases, while NOT taking effective action to keep illegal immigrants from being hired, and to keep them from keeping jobs they are illegally holding.


Illegal immigration deception: That is what it has all been about--for both illegal immigrants and the political ESTABLISHMENT of this country--for a DECADE or more. Yes, many businesses DO want to hurt American workers by having access to cheap, illegal labor. However, the LEFT (translation: Obma, Hillary, and the rest) have no intention of enforcing the immigration laws to actually make it impossible for illegal immigrants to work in this country (as we could do).


I will state flatly: President Obama does not WANT to STOP illegl immigration, or to throw illegal immigrants out of the jobs they now hold. He wants to DECEIVE, as all illegal immmigrant advocates (yes, including Prfesident Bush and John McCain) have wanted to DECIEVE.


I will continue to expose that deception whenever I see it. But it is pervasive and unrealenting. Our political "elite" are totally out of step with the American people on this, and they know it. But Obama uses "1984" as his blueprint, and will continue to use WORDS to deceive to the end. Again, if the American public accepts this, we deserve what we get. If American WORKERS accept this, they deserve what they get.
