Obama and Taxes: Liar-in-Chief

Here is Obama from that digraceful press conference today:


"you need to understand that I have NOT called for raising taxes in the recession. NO ONE is calling for tax increases this year, or next year. All of the loophole closing and revenue raises we have proposed does not take place until at least 2013, and you should not listen to Republicans tell you otherwise."


Do you see the LIE here? You should. It is obvius., If you raise taxes NOW, you are raising taxes in an enconomy that cannot stand it, even if the raised taxes do not go into effect until the future. Why is that? It is because busniesses have to pln NOW. It is, in fact, a cnycial useless acto of COWARDICE to try to deceive the American people by postponing the effective date of tax increases until after the election (in order to try to convince Republicans that THEY can deceive their voters as to what they have done, as Obama and the Democrats did with ObamaCare). If yo are going to raise taxes in two years, you might as well do it now. You will increase revenue faster (maybe), and wou won't appear to be such a cynical coward and liar. Businesses are going to act as if taxes are raised NOW, except to the extent they can make distorted decisions to try to take advantage of the ridiculous "springing tax" staring them in the face.


Think of how CYNCICAL and decetiful this President is. See the previous article. This Preisdent has postponed the real COSTS of his health care program, in combination with Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, untile after the 20112 election. He proposes to do the same thing with any tax increases. Further, he is demanding that any future debt ceiling increase be avodied until after the next election. How can you respect a man like that?


"Skip, are yo saying you do not respect the President of the United States?"


I am saying exactly that. How can you respect a man like this? Did you notice that the really Big Lie of the presss conference was the assertion that Obama haS "stood ready" to fight his "base" and make "hard choices" on spending curts, even including entitlements? This is OBAMA. He has opposed making AnYH spending cuts. He produced a budget that did NOTTHING to cut spending. He was dragged, kicing and screaming, into these debt ceiling talks. He initially proposed a "clean" debt ceiling raise, with NO spendin gcuts whatever. He is still not propsoing any CURRENT spendin gcuts. Yet, the Liar-in-Chief talked today like he has always looked up this debt crisis as an opportunity to "get our financial house in order". See the previous article again, wherein this blog correctly informed you that what Obama is really looking for is an "oportunity" to "declare victory" over the defict, and SPNED MORE MONEY. The TEST for Republicans is whether this next year's spending is LESS than LAST YEAR'S SPENDING (not less that projected spending), and whether there are real cuts in next year's spending. I expect Republicans to fail this test. That is because I am ALMOST s cynical as Obama, but no one could really be that cynically dishonest except Obama.


Therefore, I don't respect the man who is now President of the United States. I respect the OFFICE. But the man will say AnYTHING, and say the OPPOSITE the very next day. Further, he will expect you to ignore that he has said inconsistent things.


By the way. If it is so important that the debt ceiling be raised. why is President Obama saying that he will NOT SIGN certain bills? Some things are obviusly more important to Obama than raising the debt ceiling. Why should that not be true of Republicans as well?
