California and Scharzenegger: Bail Us Out Too

Yes, the news this morning is that California needs a "loan" of 7 billion dollars, because California (controlled by leftists) has spent more money than it has.

How can you argue against "bailing out" California, after we have bailed out Wall Street (it still being my belief that the establishment is doing enough blackmail and extortion to pass this terrible bailout bill, which dooms the principle of limited government for the foreseeable future).

Who is going to make a loan to the taxpayers of the United States, when the same type of people who bankrupted California bankrupt us?  Well, right now China and those terrible oil sheiks are loaning us the money, and we are already bankrupt.  But that will not continue forever.  We may have to resort to my brother's (sarcastic) option:  Just tell our Chinese, Mieast and other foreign creditors that we are defaulting, and just will not pay them back.  In other words, we will have to tell them we need a "bailout", and a "work out" arrangement where we only pay back what we can afford.  Of coure, we will no longer get any credit.

But it is getting to the point that maybe we should not be allowed to borrow money for awhile.  It will probably be good for us.  It would probably be good for California.  Don't hold your breath.  We have chosen the other road, and will not leave it until the inevitable crack-up.

P.S.  If you are scratching your head, and asking yourself why poor people in Mississippi should be asked to bail out rich people in California, don't.  The idea here is not logic, but that Federal (taxpayer) money is FREE.  In a state like California, peple can see their money being used, and feel their taxes.  The Fedeal Government is so big and remote, that it the money it spends is not "rea".   The problem is that it is real, and that treating it as "free" money will eventually bankrput us all.
