Town Hall Debate a Total Fraud (Plsu, Tom Brokaw Deserves No Respect)

This "town hall" debate is a fraud (as are probably most "town hall" events) . That is because the "questions" do not represent what "America" wants to know.  They represent what Tom Brokaw and his "researchers" want to know.

Is it possible for me to be blunt enough about this total fraud? I can only try.  The questions in this "town hall" debate do not come from some randomly selected people.  Rather, the questions are "screened" by Brokaw.  There is just no way around it.  The questions represent what Brokaw wants to ask.

You can't possibly doubt me on this one (as you should have learned not to doubt me on anything by now).  Say brokaw got 1000 questions to choose from (conservative, and if you count the internet, the number is astronomical).  Brokaw is not required to choose the most common questions. There are no standards at all for Brokaw in choosing the questions to ask.  Even if he tries to set aside his own agenda, his wolrd view is bound to be reflected in the questions chosen  Even 1000 questions would be enough to guarantee that Brokaw can choose questions that reflect what Broakaw thinks are important question.  The fact that each inidividual question does not come from Brokaw is irrelevant.  That may (only slightly) affect the workdng of teh question, but it cannot affect the substance of the questions asked at all.  The power to select the questions means that it is Brokaw asking the questions, and no one else.

You have seen these Congressional hearings.   Can you imagine the stink if all 535 members of Congress were allowed to submit questions for each witness, but only the committee chairman got to choose the questions asked--calling in the individual Congress person to ask each question.  It does not matter who asks the questions.  The real issue is who chooses what questions will be aked.  In my hypothetical example, the committee chairman would have complete control of the questions asked.  The people brought in to actually put the each question to a witness would be only puppets--having the illusion of asking questions, but having no real power over the questions asked.

The same is true of the "town hall" debate.  People who "ask" questions in person, or from the internet, are only puppets who are doing Brokaw's bidding.  They have the illusion of "participating", when they have no real role in the questions asked.  It is just a moment of "fame" for each person whole question is chosen, but it is totally fraudulent to suggest that the questions are being determined by "real" people.  They are not.  It is no different than if Brokaw wrote the questions to be asked, and then brought in actors to ask each question, except in minor differences in the wording of the questions from how Brokaw might have worded them (and Brokaw can minimize any such difference in the questions he chooses by choosing those worded closest to how he would do it).

Yep.  The CNN YouTube debates had the same fatal falw, and represented the same kind of fraud.  CNN (the liear network) even had the gall to try to deflect criticism of the questions by saying that CNN was only asking what "American wanted to know".  That was a bald faced lie (typical of CNN, which lies every day and every broadcast). CNN chose the questions  That meant that the questions represented what CNN wanted to know, and not "Ameira".

Tom Brokaw is not neutral.  As far as I am concerned, he is not even a "respected" journalist anymore.  Why do I say that?  First, he works for NBC, and NBC is totally part of the Obama capaign.  Second, he has voluntarily associated, albeit with some discomfort, with Keith Olbermann, of MSNBC, on election coverage.  Brokaw has even acted like he takes Olbermann seriously as an "objective" "journalist".  No one who has associated with Keith Olbermann on a supposed "news" program can be a respected "journalist".  Olbermann is the most partisan "journalist" on television.  He is more partisan than I am.  He is more parisan than Rush or Hannity, because he distorts "news" for his own purposes more than those admitted partisans do.  Olbermann is more partisan, and a heck of a lot less hones, than I am.

Nope.  Any debate where Tom Brokaw chooses the questions is even worse than a fraud.  It is a travesty.

Tom Broaw's association with Keith Olbermann alone disqualifies him as a respected "journalist" and "objective" moderator--not to mention all of the other political hacks at NBC and MSNBC.  It is even worse than Obama's disgraceful20 year support of race hater and America hater, Reverend Jeremiah Wright.  You can't associate with, and lend your support, to all of those evil people at NBC and MSNBC, and escape the taint.  The taint has colored Brokaw black.

But it does not matter if Brokaw were entitled to wear a white hat, and portray himself as a perfectly "objective" "journalist" (there is no such tlhing).  He is still only one man.  It is that one man who is choosing the questions to be asked tonight, and not the people identified as asking the questions  The whole thing is a fraud, and it is time it was labeled a fraud.

If you are naive enough to believe otherwise, I am sorry for you.
