Democrats: No Cover

I don't know how many noticed, but AOL briefly carried an AP story a few days ago demanding that BUSH bail out the auto industry.

Now President Bush, along with John McCain, has become one of the bigger saboteurs of the Republican Party that has ever existed. Still, it is time for President Bush to grow a set and stop helping out the Democrats.

Yes, this is the best thing about the recent electons. Democrats no longer have any cover. Whether in the lame duck session, or in the new administration (where luckily Republicans don't have enough power and numbers to confuse things much), Republicans need to make clear that it is now Democrats in control, and who need to decide what they want to do.

President Bush should not do any more bailouts. In fact, I don't see much excuse for the addition to the AIG bailout to a new total of 150 billion dollars. Does anyone believe that AIG does not now have a blank check. It is like the old, true "joke": If you owe a bank $50,000, the bank owns you. If you owe a bank a billion dollars, you own the bank." Yes, AIG now pretty much owns the U.S. Treasury. It has been obvious from the beginning that AIG owns Goldman Salchs (to which AIG owes some 20 billion dollars). That seems to be a main reason AIG has ended up owning the U.S. Treasury, since the despicable Hank Paulson (Treasury Secretary) came from Goldman Sachs to the Treasury.

Except for the precedebt, I wish President Bush would just resign and get out of there. It is time for him to go--past time. It is time to get to the point where Democrats have not cover.

Taxes? Let the Democrats show their true colors? Illegal Immigration? Ditto। Government spending? Ditto. "Global warming" destruction of our economy? Ditto? Socialist takeover of our economy? Ditto. Energy (wher OIbama said we needed to be prepared for "skyrocketing" electricity cost)? Ditto. And so on. Already, Obama is ready, from news reports, to issue an executive order limiting domestic drilling again. He is also evidently preparing pro-abortion executive orders (the burning issue facing us, according to leftists, who are obsessed with the idea of encouraging abortion to the maximum degree, up to the moment of birth).
