"Ridicule", "People Will Talk", "The Children's Hour", and "TheFarmer's Daughter".

The above are the names of four Hollywood movies, among many others, talking about the evils of malicious gossip, including in politics and among the "elites". Yes, that means you, Fox News and Carl Cameron (added to my "journalistic" hall of shame, to join Anderson Cooper, Wolf Blitzer, Larry King, Campbell Brown, Soledad O'Brien, John Roberts, Kyra Phillips, Keith Olbermann, Andrea Mitchell, Rachel Maddow, Tom Brokaw, David Gergen, David Gregory, and all of the rest at CNN, MSNBC, and in the rest oft he mainstream media). They all proved this election that they are, as this blog as told you, the primary agents (on behalf of leftist Democrats) of the "politics of personal destruction" in this country. As to what that is, see "Ridicule" (movie rating 100).

"The Farmer's Daughter" is the best feminist political movie of all time, which alone condemns John McCain and his campaign's sore loser trashing of Sarah Palin, along with the mainstream media and the left, for the sexist, evil pigs that they are. I am talking, of course, about "The Farmer's Daughter" (movie rating 100), with Loretta Young giving the best performance of her (great) career. Yes, the campaign against the Loretta Young character has a lot of similarities to the sexist campaign against Sarah Palin by CNN, MSNBC, all of the mainstream media, and the left. The movie could have been made yesterday (so long as the main character was a conservative woman). "The Farmer's Daughter" was made in the 1940's, and is about the attempt to destroy a woman candidate for Congress with malicious gossip.

As stated in last night's entry, Johjn McCain and his campaign will now go down in infamy, forever more, as the campaign that John McCain let show the world how to "ridicule" your party's own Vice Presidential candidate when you know you are going to lose, and have lost, an election. John McCain's reputation is now forever tainted, as are the "moderate" Republicans who have joined in the trashing of Sarah Palin persoanlly.

"Ridicule" is the movie that all of CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC should be required to watch, 16 hours a day for an entire year, as the movie is repeated over and over again. "Ridicule" also could have been made yesterday, about Sarah Palin. It is the movie about the French Court of several hundred years ago, where the "elete" members of the Court make a game out of "ridicule"--tearing down people personally who are not as "sophicticated" and "witty" as they are, or who can be caught out. Joe the Plumber anyone? "Ridicule" is about the "politics of personal destruction" now engaged in by CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, and the rest. It was made decades ago, but is as fresh today as when it was made. In fact, it is even more to the point today. It is specifically "about" a "hick" from the country who comes to the French Court asking for backing for a great idea he has. He, of course, receives "ridicule" from the "sophisticated" elite, after being led to believe that he is accepted (Sarah Palin missed out on that part, as did Joe the Plumber).

"People Will Talk" is the absolutely first rate Cary Grant movie about love, mistakes, tolerance, and malicious gossip. It is one of my favorite movies of all time. The mainstream media should have been required to see the movie before trying to "ridicule" Sarah Palin over the pregnancy of her daughter, Bristol. But the sanctimonious, evil hypocrites are all about ridicule, and I say for the thousandth time that I hope to meet them all in Hell.
"The Children's Hour" (rating 82) is a movie specifically about the evil of malicious gossip. It is a 1960's remake of an earlier movie on the same theme, with Joel McCrea. The story is about two women running a school for children, who are destroyed by the malicious gossip of one of their child students (Carl Cameron, pay attention, this is your evil they are talking about, and the evil of Fox News putting out this malicious McCain gossip on Sarah Palin). In the Shirley MacLaine version, the gossip is about an alleged lesbian kiss. IN the Joel McCrea, earlier version, the gossip is about one of the women having sex with the other woman's fiance (Joel McCrea). The lesbian angle of "The Children's Hour" is irrelevant. The movie is about the evils of malicious gossip. Loretta Young is saved by her Congressman love of the other party, after her own is willing to abandon her. Mayber that hypocritical coward, John McCain, should take notes, along with his staff and those "moderate" Republicans willing to trash Sarah Palin for their own purposes.

Yet, that is all the media is about these days: Malicious gossip from anonymous sources advancing their own agenda from behind a mask, and usually the media agenda. Oh yes, the media is also about polls (gossip in another form).

"Journalists" are now just a little above terrorists on the present hierarchy of evil professions--as practiced in the world today. The above movies show that we have all known the evil of malicious gossip. It is no secret. yet, we (not at all blameless) still pay attention to it. And our media have now become the major "pushers" of it. They should view all of these movies, and then see if they can stand themselves.

My problem is that they probably could stand themselves, after watching these movies--sanctimonious, evil hypocrites that they are.
