Gay Marriage: A Wining Issue for Conservativs, But Not for Republicans

Gay Marriage: A Wining Issue for Conservativs, But Not for Republicans

"In an election otherwise full of liberal triumphs, the gay rights movement suffered a stunning defeat as California voters approved a ban on same-sex marriages that overrides a recent court decision legalizing them."

See the previous entry. The above is a quote about the rejection of homosexual marriage in leftist California. Does anyone out there dare disagree with my list of winning conservative issues that Republicans are failing to exploit?

Yes, Republicans could have run against the radical left, including Obama, on some of these winning social issues, as well as winning economic issues. But McCain could not campaign on a Constitutional Amendment preventing leftist jusdes from imposing a gay agenda on marriage on the country. Republicans in general are afraid to campaign on this issue.

I repeat again: Republicans got what they deserved yesterday। I am glad I am not a Republican.

P.S. If you doubt that "gay marriage" is extreme, and beyond defense, consider that polygamy and incest both have a history, in the vast expanse of recorded human history, of being allowed by human societies. Polygamy especially has a long history. Cleopatra was married to her brother, as incest was the preferred type of marriage for Egyptian royalty and nobility (and many ordinary people). But never, in all of human history up to this present century, has homsexual marriage been recognized (even in the many societies where homosexual conduct was pretty common and accepted). That is because it is stupid. Leftist Democrats are stupid. No, I reject the idea that Obama does not support homosexual marriage. He clearly does. He just wants it to be imposed by leftists in the judiciary, where he does not have to take responsibility (politically) for it.
