Donald Trump, the Media and Republicans: Trump Shames Republican Politicians

Donald Trump has taken on a New York Times reporter in a manner that no Republican politican seems willing to do. Further, I heard Liz Trotter say on Fox---meant as a report condemning Trump, but really a COMPLIMENT--that NBC "did not lay a govle on Trump" in that interview addressed in my previous article on Trump and Bill Cosby. No, I have not changed my mind. Trump is stil a JOKE as a potential PRESIDENT. And Bill Cosby is still a hero for saying Trump is "full of it". That is why it is so shameful that Trump is doing a better job of dealing with the mainstream media than regular (or even Tea Party) POLITICIANS. Can you see Trump leaving the fied to PLANNED PARENTHOOD, and letting the media get away with lie aafter lie? Not a chance. No wonder Trump is POLLING so well. Cnservatives are not just tired of Obama policies, and policies of leftist Democrats. Conservatives are tired of politicians, supposedly on our side, who appear NOT to really believe the positions they are taking. Or if they do believe, they seem INCOMPETENT to stand up to the mainstream media. That means ATTACKING the mainstream media--not personally, but question by question and issue by issue. Yes, Sarah Palin will do it, but even she is too general ("lamestream" media, wile cleve, really does not get us too far). Yes, Sarh Palin should have ATTACKED Katie Couric for those stupid questions, rather than give stupid answers. Trump does. Why can't Repubican politiciians at least stand up for their issues? Look at what Trump is doing. The mainstream media has been RIDICULLING (justly, to a degree, but the extent of the ridicule has been ridiculous in itself). the idea that President Obama was not born in Hawaii. Trump has actually made that an ISSUE, and SURVIVED. Republicans can't eve figure out how to take on Planned Parenthood and NPR. Something is wrong here, and it is not with Trump (other than generally). It is a severe "wrongness" with Repubican politicians. What is Trump's secret? Easy. Trump may not be all that smart, but he has figured out the obvious: People hold the media IN CONTEMPT. If you take on the media, withou saying anything STUPID, you can beat these people. The pubic is on YOUR SIDE (the side of people attacking the media), so long as you seem to know what you are talking about. If Repubicans cannot do as well explaining their positions as Trump does explaining why he is a "birther", then Repubicans are in trouble. Right now, they are winning by default (because of the obvious bad policies, and lies, of Obama and the left). You cant rely on that forever. And you have to ATTACK--not evade and act like you really have no clue as to what you are talking about. No, it is NOT enough to defend Ryan's proposed budget as great. You have to ATTACK Obama and the mainstream media attacks on you. See the previious article on Chris Wallace. Yes, it would do a Repubican good to ATTACK Fox News (not in general, but if you get a stupid question, or a questioin including a lie in the premise). Howard Kurtz--another dishonest political hack on The Liar Network--even attacked Sarah Palin because she attacked a CONSERVATIVE (lol-referring to Tucker Carlson) media person. Exactly who said that conservative media people are immune from attack by conservatives? Not me. I do it all of the time. And whilie I don't think Repubican politicians dare imitate me, in full, their actual approach is WORSE. What is the proper position on the "brither""issue"? Easy. Say something like--if you are not Donald Trump, who needs no advice from me: "I have seen no evidence that Obama was not born in Hawaii. He has a "certificate of live birth" from Hawaii. It is puzzling why Obama does not seem to have a hospital birth certificate, and why his supporters constantly talk arond that. But it is not an issue unless real evidence comes out that Obama was NOT born in Hawaii. Otherwise, this is a total distraction taking away from the real issues confronting this country. The mainstream media, and Democrats, seem to WANT to make the 2012 election about whether Obama was born in Hawaii--something like they seem to want to shut down the government. The 2012 election should never be about that. " What if you then get the POLITTICAL HACK follow up question (which is never asked of Democrats on the kook positions of Michael Moore and others): "Do you, sir, CONDEMN Donald Trump, and others, who keep asserting that Obama was not born in Hawaii." Ansewr: Why is it you want to make this election about that.? Could it be that you are biased, and merely carrying wather for Obama and the Democrats? It is not my place fo condemn someone for an opinion. It is up to Donald Trump to defend himself, which I am sure he is fully capable of doing. All I can say is that I see no evidence that Obama was not born in Hawaii, and considerable evidence that he was. That is all I have to say on something that is not an issue, as far as I am concerned. If you insist on pushing this, then you just expose yourself as a political advocate for Democrats. How often have you asked Democrats whether they CONDEMN people who believe President Bush was involved in 9/11--a much more morally corrupt charge than the charge that Obama was not born in Hawaii. After all, Obama was not personallyu aware of where he was born, and there is not reason to assume he is morally responsible for any alleged misrepresentation. at the time of his birth. Again, I have nothing more to say on something that is not an issue, and you should be ashamed for making it more of an issue than it is. If Don Trump is running for President, it is a fair questin for HIM as to why he thinks this is an issue. It is not a fair question for me. (I know--too many words, but you get the idea: Make it about the MEDIA, if he media wants to make the election all about where Obama was born.) P.S. No proofreading or spell checking, as usual (eyesight).
