See yesterday's article as to the American media being entirely incompetent boobs. Bet you did not know Icould PROVE it in a single day, but that is what has happened.
Today's headlie on an AT&T/Yahoo FEATURED PICTURE SOTRY (the picture that jumps out at you on the internet default page if you have AT&T internet service):
"Habit Amanda Knox is brakeing"
Yep. This is the SAME story that AT&T/Yahoo carried as a FEATURED 'top news story' yesterday, as featured in this blog's article yesterday:
"Knox trying to break habit of speaking Itlaian"
Notice the SUSPENSE of today's picture story headline.
What can you say about incompetence and evil this obvious? It is not only a matter of "who cares" that Amanda Knox is trying to "break the habit" of speaking Italian. YOU SHOULD NOT CARE. I am serious. Tis is a perversion of "journalism". It is tellin gyo that something which wyou should know is NOT "news".........is "news". Further, as this blog as shown in an article early this week, Amand Knox is NOT A HEROINE. She is morelikely a villain, but in on sense is she an heroine. She got her murder convictoin reversed--probably correctly so--but that does nto mean her actions were RIGHT.
But it goes beyond that. This idea that people should be told EVERYTING about Amanda Knox, because she is now a celebrity, and the idea that his is "news", makes me despaair of this country. We just have to be better than this, but I am begining to wonder if we are.
Tomorrow's headline today, from AT&T/Yahoo: "Amanda Knox eats vegetarian diet"
Yes, if AT&T/Yahhoo and ABC "News" continue to put out this stuff, they can expect RIDICULE from this blog. I have nothing but contempt for these people.
A note on th e parenthesis in the headline: Yahoo "News" has joined with ABC "News" (I having boycottted the major network "news" long ago, if you want to call it "boycotting to simply stop watching it as totally useless). Does this mean the end--final failure--of my futile Sodom and Gomorrah search for a competent, honest AP reporter? Maybe. Will He understand? I just can't go out--with my eyesight--"searching" for the AP articles of the day that was the major use that Yahoo "News" had to me. My campaign againt thte despicable AP is almost a decade old, and it is going to be hard to give it up, even though ABC is sort of an "acceptable" substitute for the mainstream media "talking points" of the day. And ABC uses the despicable AP. Still, I will no longer be doing my almost daily critique of the desipicable AP. Oh well. Time marches on. The good news here, of course, is that the despicable AP is evidently no longer going to be the source of almsot all Yahoo "News" featured stories. Thje bad news, of course, is that ABc "News" is hardly better. Oh, ABC cannot be WORSE than the AP. There is no worse "news" source in this, or any other, universe, because it is impossible to be wordse. But ABC comes close to being as bad. Further, this "Amanda Knox" junk may indicate that we are gong to get ridiculous FLUFF now. With the despicable AP "featured stories", you got mainy serious propaanda--dishonest but serious. ABC may be SLIGHTLY better on the propaganda, at the price of this junk. Stay tuned. Unless I decide to go somewhere which features the aP (maybe under pressure fom on high), I will be getting my mainstream media "news' mainly from ABC "Neews" via AT&T/Yahoo.
P.S. No proofreading or spell checking (bad eyesight). Yes, there was actualy an announcement a week or two ago--the blind leading the blind, makig me not feel so blind--aobut this new "partnershp" between Yahoo (a failing company looking for a merger partner for the whole firm) and ABC "News". I just did not realize it would be implemented so soon. I hope it COST the AP something., and that this blog had someting to do with the AP getting kicked out (probably not, but one can dream).
