Is MTV part of the evil cabal out to elect Barack "World" Obama President, at any cost and using any method? It certainly was last night at the MTV Music Video Awards.
Russell Brand was the host, and he directly said: "The WORLD is asking you to elect Barack 'World' Obama". Okay, he did not say "World" Obama, but the quote is otherwise accurate. I saw the video clip (you are out of your mind if you think I watched the program). This illustrates again WHY Barack "World" Obama has that nickname (with my continuing apologies to former NBA star "World" B. Free).
It did not stop there. Brand took out after Sarah Palin, as well. Now I do not know exactly what he said, because Fox News found it too vulgar to repeat this morning (I sometimes look in on Fox News just to get an idea of what the "buzz" is starting the day, even though I can't take regular viewing). According to Fox News, Brand used "sexually suggestive" language in referring to Palin.
In other words, Brand blatantly came out for Obama, and against the Republicans, in the most insulting way possible.
Now you might think this is "news", if you are a real "journalist". A BRIT has INSULTED the woman Vice Presidential candidate in the United States, as the host of a major MTC event. Further, he ENDORSED a candidate. According to Fox News, he apologized for NONE of it, although he came out late in the program and apologized to the JONAS BROTHERS for "inappropriate remarks".
What do you think was the "news" out of this event for the "Anti-American, Despicable Associated Press" (always use official name on first reference)? To the despicable AP, the "news" was BRITNEY SPEARS (whose set designer designed the stage at Mile High stadium for Obama's speech). Here is the ONLY reference by the despicable AP, in the AOL (just as bad) featured story:
"The show will be held this year in Los Angeles, at Paramount Studios, where its various movie sets have the potential to be an interesting backdrop for the show and its performers. The show's host for the evening is British comedian Russell Brand."
Can you get ANY worse that the despicable AP, and AOL, in this or any other universe? Nope. Can't be done.
Say Dennis Miller had gone on Fox News and said something really insulting about Barack "World" Obama? You would be hearing all about how this is a RACIST COUNTRY. This British druggie goes on MTV and makes sexually suggestive comments about a woman candidate for Vice President, and the despicable AP does not even mention it. That is in addition to not mentioning the MCCAIN COMMERCIAL. I assure you: Telling the American people that the WORLD wants them to elect Obama is a MCCAIN COMMERCIAL.
The Carthage solution is the only possible one. See previous entries over the past week. The self-destruction of our media--not to mention our entertainment industry--continues.
