Muslim Extremists: Hate Speech and Incitement to Murder--the Frankfort Murders (Facebook and Terrorism)

See my article yesterday about the Frenfort murders and Islamic extremism (you can ignore the postscripts if you want, which were postscripts because they went--in an unfocused way--into things not relevant to the main article in any direct way).

Yesterday's article told you that it was extremely likely that the "devout Muslim" shooter was motivated by Islamic extremism--by his twisted view of his own religion inspired by hate speech put out by major elements of that religion (as practiced in the world today).

Yep. This blog was right again, and that was basically confirmed today. --less than 24 hours after I wrote the article. And if you think my article was obviuous, you may be right--BUT what then do you think of CNN (doing its best to avoid the obvious, along with the rest of the mainstream media). Germany confirmed today that the "deviout Muslim" shooter specifically TARGETED American military men. Yes, Germany said that the shooter (a really reliable source) said that he acted alone. But the Pentagon (having learned something, in contrast to the Orwellkian liars at CNN) said that it was still looking into the qeustion of whether the shooter had "help", and the question of whether al-Qaida was behind the shooting in some way. Reports as to the shooter's motivation confirmed my assertion that he was likely motivated by his Islamic "fundamentalim" (extremism).

Let us assume that the shooter was not part of a bigger terrorist plot (which, of course, should be the first focus of the investigation in order to arrest any other people involved in any such plot). If true, that merely proves the point of my article yesterday. If not connectged directly to other terrorists, then this "devout Muslim" extremis was motivated by the hate speech beig spread within his religion throughout the world. In other words, Islamic extremism is responsbile for much more killing than just killing by terrorist groups.

That conclusion is further soldified by the appararent fact that this shooter was very active on the internet, including Facebook. You will remember that Facebook, and the "social internet", is being given so much "credit" for the pro-democracy movement in the Middle East and North Africa. That is proably overblown, but the Frankfort murders show the dark side of Facebook and the internet. It FACILITATES TERRORISM and the spreading of extremist hatred--in this case Islamic extremist hatred. Lest I be distracted from the main point here, I again note that there is almost no question that the Frankfort shooter thought he was doing RIGHT under his religion. Tere is a simple truth here: Islamic extremism--not just terrorists--incites murder around the world. It is an enemy not only of the United States, but of humanity.

Where is the MUSLIM utrage of the hate speech being spread in the name of their religion? I know Muslim organizations say they make what I regard as pro forma denunciations of terrorists, but WHERE are their denunciations of Islmaic extremists spreading hate (for example, the type of Muslim clerics promoting the death penalty in places like Pakistan for people who "blaspheme" or "insult Islam"). Don't tell me that there is a general denunciation of this extremism in the worldwide Muslim community. It is simply not true.

Yes, Our politcians MUST recognize Islmaic extremism for the enemy of the world's people that it is. It is also, of course, our enemy--as the Frankfort shooting shows. One of the worst, accurate indictments of the Obama Administration is that they do not realize lthis simple truth, and are certainly not bringing that message to the world.
