Jobs: "1984" Style, Orwellian Terminology (Big Brother Lives in the Age of Obama)

No, I am not going to let pass President Obama's Orwellian use of words: "We are going to create, OR SAVE, 600,000 jobs......"

There is, of course, no such "category" as "saved jobs"--for good reason. Is it possible to measure whether a job would have been lost (if not for the intervention of "sort of God" Obama, to use the Alice in Wonderland terminology of Newsweek editor Evan Thomas)? Of course it is not possible to measure such a thing.

Imagine what would have happened if President Bush had bragged, LAST SUMMER, about the number of jobs he had "saved" with HIS "stimulus" package. The ridicule from the mainstream media would have been worthy of the movie, "Ridicule" (great, profound movie).

Yes, the media acceptance of such Obama absurdities is merely further confiramtion that today's mainstream media are the worst hypocrites to ever walk the Earth on two legs (mcuh woarse than Rush Limbaugh, who I criticized for a dishonest show yesterday--intellectuallly speaking).

P.S. Yes, lest you forget, President Bush and the Republicans DID give us a "stimulus" package last summer, which did nothing but increase the deficit. It certainly did NOT help the economy, did it? The Democrat "stimulus" package this year is even worse, but the Repubican problem is that when the Republican Party was actually in power they pretty much said and did the same types of things that Obama is saying and doing--just Democrat LIGHT. The only difference is that Republicans could not get away with saying the kinds of things the mainstream media lets President Obama get away with saying. Who is to say that President Bush did not "save" 600,0000 jobs. The whole concept is ridiculous, and Oama should be ashamed of using it. The mainstream media should be ashamed of not laughing at the whole ridiculous concept. These hypocrites, of course, have no shame--or memory. Unfortunately, the Republican Party is in that same categoy, only LILGHT. Republicans seem permanently cast as the "me too" party, only LIGHT. Even on hypocrisy, they try, but they are just LIGHT. No wonder the party is in deep trouble.
