CNN and John King: Senior Citizens Are Dumb

It was Friday that I saw John Kin insult me (essentailly a senior citizen: "onyh" 64", but receiving Soxial Security as my only regular source of income, and not even a "millionaire or billionaire" with a total wealth of maybe $600,000 or $700,000 dollars, depending on what the idiots on Wall Street do in a particular week).


The present narrative of CNN, MSNBC, NBC, the rest of the mainstream media, and the left is that they can SCARE senior citizens out of voting to oust Barack Obama (who my 89 year old mother KNOWS is tryikng to KILL her to "save" ObamaCare). The CNN/John Knig narrative right now is that Rick Perry cannot be President because of what he has (correctly) said on Social Seucrity. Previouslly, the narrative was the Obama and his allies in the media could DESTROY Repubicans over Paul Ryan's Medicare plan. Prooblem for CNN, John King and the rest: Rick Perry, and EVERY other single Repubican, have said that NO person now receiving Social Security or Medicare, or near the age to receive it, will lose a single DIME of benefits. Paul Ryan's "plan" on Medicare does not affect ANY:ONE over 55 (meaning it essentially has no effect for ten whole years--hardly a great "deficit reduction" plan). Rick Perry has stronly said the same sort of thing on Social Security: just that we have to do something to "save" Social Seucrity for YOUNGER people.


You can see--if you are not brain damaged, like John King and the other people of CNN and the mainstream media--where this is going. What is the conclusion SMART senior citizens (i.e., those who are not terminally DUMB) should draw from this? VOTE REPUBLICAN. Now this blog has told you why I may not do that, even though it is to my obvious SELF-INTERST to do so. Senior citizens actin on self-interest should VOTE REPUBILCAN. Why? Republicans have promised that NO senior citizen will lose ONE DIME of benefits. Rather, Republicans are saying that they will take action affecting the YOUNG to MAKE SURE that no senior citizen will see any effect in his or her benefits. Meanwhile, President Obama wants to TAMPER with both Social Security and Medicare in ways that ENDANGER senior citizens (ObamaCare being a major danger to Medicare, and the care senior citiznens receive under Medicare). The proposed Obama "tax holiday" on the Social Security/payroll tax UNNDERMINES the SOLE funding for Social Security. Now the YOUNG could, perhaps, vote against Republicans on the grounds that Republicans are going to reduce the "benefits" that the young will eventually receive under Social Security and Medicare--as if the young did not realize that there is NO chance they will receive full benefits, and only if the young do not believe Republicans who say that they are only trying to SAVE Social Security and Medicare so that the "yong" at least receive SOME benefits. There is NO reason at all for senior citizens to vote against Repubicans, who are promising to make sure that any "sacrifice' falls on the YOUNG.


Believe it or not, a CNN person talking to John King actually raised this issue (raised it to on e of the most dishoenst and hypocritical men to ever walk the Earth). Now this is CNN, and therefore the issue was not raised as starkly as I do above. But the CNN woman told King: "To be fair, Rick Perry did say that NO present recipient of Social Security will see any reduced benefits.". The implicaton, of course, was exactly what I point out above: Acting ony on SELF-INTEREST, there is NO reason for a senior citizen to vote against a Republican. John King did nto dispute this point, because even a dishonest hypocrite like him cannot dispute it and maiintain a shred of credibiity. Instead, King said: "Senor citizens are DUMB. I know that we in the mainstream media can LIE to them and SCARE them, and they will vote for our President."


Okay. King did not say EXACTLY that. But what other way can you interpret what he did say. What he actually said was that all senior citizens HEAR, with the help of CNN, Democrats, and even Mitt Romney, is that Rick Perry is that Rick Perry is attacking Social Security. King said that senior citizens don't understand or care about the details. Message from John King and CNN to sneior citizens: "YOU ARE DUMB. We, and the Democrats, can SACRE you because you are so dumb." You may remember that it was CNN, and the mainstream media, who were sying back in 2010 that Repubicans needed to address Social Seucrity and Medicare if they really wanted to do anything about the deficit, because those two programs are eating up most of the Federal budget. But we know that CNN,, including John King, is composed of the most DISHONEST HYPOCRITES who have ever walked the Earth, on two legs or four. Thus, we knew all along that CNN only wanted Republicans to "take on" Medicare and Social Security so that CNN could DESTROY them. However, this is pretty blatant stuff. I hate to break it to CNN. Senior citizens are NOT that dumb. The only ones who are that dumb are the ones who VOTE DEMOCRAT anyway.


John king (to woman who had DARED to expose his dishonesty): "Don't you agree that Obama is guaranteed reelection if Rick Perry is the nominee, since senior citizens will not vote for him in even the numbers they voted for John McCain (because we are tong to SCARE them out of it with DISHONESTY)?"


YHou hae to admire this woman on CNN. King was giving her a chance to redeem herself, and join the propaganda. Her career at CNN may be OVER. She AGAIN exposed the total DISHONESTY of John King. Her reply (as King looked daggers at her): "No, I don't think that is true. If the economy and jobs are still in bad shape, Obama will probably lose."


Q.E.D. John King is exposed as a DISHONEST political hack, in the mold of Gloria Borger, Wolf Blitzer, Anderson Cooper and the other dishoenst political hacks of CNN. See my article yesterday where I announced my self-imposed ten mnute limit (per dAY) on "surfing" time for the unfair and unbalanced network. That limit has been in effect for YEARS as to CNN and MSNBC, and I will enforce it on myself even more strictly. The ONLY reason to watch/listen to ANY of these dishonest people is to learn what they are trying to DO to you. Unfortunatey for John King, I am NOT DUMB. Another message to John King: I am INSULTED by youo, and every other senior citizen should be INSULTED by you. The fact is that we senior citizens, including my 89 year old mother who is also INSULTED by you, know more about the dETAILS of what is going on than any ten YOUNG people out there. In our experience, young people are pretty CLUELESS, and may be open to the DISHONESTY of CNN and John King. Se old peoiple know better, and have nothing but CONTEMPT for people like John King.
