Women of Fox News: Kyla Would Improve Their Intelligence Level and Competence

Yes, I have recently advocated that you boycott Fox News as a waste of time for any seeker of real informatin (rather than blog material). At most, you should just briefly surf Fox, to get a view of a few stories not reported elsewhere, along with MANY other sources of "news". Yes, I maintain that Rush Limbaugh is not bad, as you can filter out the bias and often get a better view of the real news of the day than you can get almot anywhere else. Drudge. Yes, go ahead and surf CNNN, to see the leftist mainstream media talking points of the day. MSNBC is so far left that suring them will get you the Hugo Chavez/Fidel Castro talking points of the day. Enough.

This article is again intended to state that I am UNIMPRESSED with the women of Fox News--especially the women lawyers. Yes, I do know something about this, since I was a practicing trial lawyer for more than 30 years in Texas. The women of Fox, in my experience, are just not very competent in either "journalism" or "the law".

Yes, I DO have an example, from Saturday. The Fox women--about 5 of them--asserted that Maria Shriver (sp.? I don't care) will be entitled to 50% of Arnold's earnings as The Terminator (among other things, because California is a community property state. False. And this is not nit-picking, because it gives people too simle and WRONG a view of the law. Yes, Arnold's earnings were community property, in the absence of a currently valid prenuptial agreement that probably does not exist. However, Maria is NOT "entitled" to "half' of the EARNINGS IN THE PAST. What she is entitled to is half of the commuhnity property that NOW EXISTS. As stated, this is not mere quibbling. What if Arnold and Maria SPENT most of thmoehney (say on those campaigns for governor). Now thee are hardly likely to be poor people, but it is just WRONG to be asserting that Maria is automatically entitled to half of all of the money Arnold made as The Terminator. If they STILL HAVE IT, she is entitled to it But people spend money. Yes, three is the further complication that maybe Arnold protected separate assets (of which there should not be many after so many years of marriage) at the expense of community assets. But all of that just shows how COMPLEXX the questions are that these women were SPECUALTING on with absurdly simple 'answers" and specualtion. This is not either "journalism" or legal analysis. It is mere dishonest hype for ratings.

Who is Kyla? Kyla is my younger daughter. Yes, this article would also apply to my older daughter, but she is in Boston (a lawyer there). Kyla is an associate at a major New York law firm. She also looks pretty good--even before the glamour treatment that would be given her at Fox. Further, Kyla is one of the best legal researchers I have ever seen--one of the best researchers of any kind, as a matter of fact. Not as good as I was, but pretty darn good. Better than any woman Fox now has. More articulate, really. Just as pretty. And MORE INTELLIGENT. Yes, these things do apply to my older daughter, as stated, but she is in Boston and not nearly so "cable TV ready" as Kyla. And Kyla is right there in New York City--right there at Fox. That is why I have suggested to Kla that she IMPROVE FOX by applyig for an on-air job. She would raise the level of the women at Fox a LOT. Further, I would have to stop boycotting Fox. No, that is not because Kyla would nto make me mad. She is the radical feminist who wants to rule the world. In that sense, she would fit right in with the women of Fox. But she is MORE INTELLIGENT. More importantly, I would not DARE boycott Fox with Kyla there. You jut can have no conception of how dangerous that would be. Would Fox hire Kyla? May be difficult for Kyla to get an "in'. BUT. Would Fox regret NOt hiring KYla, if she applied? There, Fox had better watch out. By trying to sic Kyla on Fox, I have put Fox in more danger than my little boycott will ever expose them to. If KYLA gets mad at them, their days are numbered.

P.S. No proofreading or spell checking (bad eyesight).
