Newt Gingrich: Pious Baloney (App9lies to the GOP, Democrats, and EVERY "Journalist")

One of those great Gingrich phrases from that useless GOP debate this moringing was "pious baloney" Gingrich applied the phrase to Mitt Romney's continued asserion that he is a "private sector" guy who just feels called to SERVE, when Ropmney has constantly run for office for 20 years or so. gingrich is right. Romney is an etalbishment politican, and the fact that he was also a Wall Street "venture capital" guy does not change that.

But what Gingrich has done is create a phrase for ALL Democrat and GOP politicans, and for EVERY "journalist" (in today's world, anyway). Look at the prevoius blog article on Marco Rubio. What can you say about GOP politicians--probably including Gingrich--who make a big deal out of the 'debt ceiling', and then vote for ADDITIONS to ur debt that they could have STOPPED? "Pious baloney". Do MOST GOP politicians cae about reallyh CUTTGING spending? Not a chance. "Pious baloney" . What abut the "Balanced Budgetr Amendment"? Piouse Baloney. That is hwy so many people, incluidng me, sort of like Ron Paul We mostly KNOW that he is NUTS (from a political/policy pint of view), but there is very LITTLE pious baloney. I realize that it is part of the job description of politicians that they put out at least some "pious baloney". But that is LL we now get. I can't stand it, and don't put up with it (even if it means NO TVOING).

Then there ar Obama and the Democrats. How many times has Obama said that we HAVE to learn to "live within our means, just like ordinary families?" 100? 10000? More? This is actually WORSE than "pious baloney". That is why I call Obama our Liear-in_Chief. But how much better is the GOP when they make such a lPOLITICAL big deal about the debtg ceiing, when they KNOW that their votes REQUiIRE the debt ceiiling to be raised (even if Obama and the Democrats would raise our debt faster and further)? Remember, President Obama played this POLITICAL GAME when President Bush was President, and the GOP had to vote to raise the debt ceiling. Then, when HE is Presient, Obam asays that he has "changed his mind" about "using" the debt ceiling as a means of imposing fiscal discipline. That statement of Obama is obviously IOUS BALONEY. The problem is that the GOP politicans have again made clear that they are playing the SAME POLITICAL GAME as Obama. A pox on them all.

Then there are "journalists'. CNN, MSNBC and the unfair and unblanced network are the PRIME source of NEGATIVE ADS (masquerading as "news" sotreis) in this country. Then they turn around and talk about how much the public HATES those ads (without seeming to realzie that the same public HATES THEM for about the same reason, along with many others). I have written a blog article about how CNN condemns "negative ads< expet when it is Mitt Romeny running negative ads against Newt Gingrich (in otehr words, condemns "negative ads", except when they are against a perceived conservative. Definitely pious baloney. The same applies to the constant "journalist" assertion that they have no agenda or bias. Pious baloney. And what aobut the "journalist" assertion that "money" should be taken OUT of "politics". What happens then? Right. The POWE and INFLUECNCE of "journalists' becomes much too great, and peole who are on the wrong end of medai attacks HAVE NO REMEDY. Pious baloney. Partisanship> There is NOBODY (not Chuck Schumer, Obama or Pelosi) who is MORE PARTISAN than the people of CNN and MSNBC. I am not talkhng about "politcal party" here. I am talikng abut partisan toward an AGENDA. Doubt me? Tink about GAY RIGHTS. Tink about ABORTION. Think about SOCIAL SECURITY. Think abut MEDICARE. Think about HEALTH CARE. I could go on, but o ou DOUBT that "journalists' mostly have a PARTISAN AGENDA on thesee issues? YOu can't possibly be that stupid. They, of course, would say it is a question of "right and wrong". Funny, that is what I say about THEM. Think about the fraud of "global warming". It jsut goes on and on, and 'journliasts' are more about pious baloney than almost ANY politican out there. That is what this blog has been mainly about for 8 years an dmore.

Thus, I thak Newt for the PHRASEW. I will use it often. And I will apply it IMPARTIALLY to the GOP, Democrats AND "journalists".

Thris Wallace, by the way, suggested --on the unfair and unbalanced network, which specializes in "pious baloney"--that Gingrich did something "wrong" by applying that phrase to what Romney had said. Chris Wallace, of course, has been the subject of at least THREE blog articles accusing him (correctly) of PIOUS BALONEY (and worse). He was guilty agan today (in the 20 seconds I watched the unfair and unbalanced netowrk today--the other minute or so being the subject of a FUTURE article balsting the unfair and unbalanced network). Aagain, that is what people--including me, altough I dont' think it out tweighs the negatives on Newt--LIKE about Newt. He SOMETIMES tells the truth in a way people can understand. It is too bad he does nto do it more of the time, instead of so often being guilty of "pious baloney" himself. Chris Walace, among other things you are STUPID. You implied that the Gingrich phrase was some sort of "personal attack" on Romney. That is NOT TURE. It was merely a CORRECT CHARACTAERIZATION of what Romney has SAID over an dover agian. It is not even "uncivil". You mean that politicans cannot even point out baloney when they hear it? No, Chris Wallace, you are a DISHONEST HYPOCRITE. You sepcialize in NEGATIE ADS (disguised as "news") yourself, and you don't want politicins to speak the TRUTH (just because the language is such as will highlight yoru assertion)? Nope. Wllace, you are a TERRIBLE HUMAN BEING, and a totally useless, dishoenst "journalist". See my past aritcles for chapter and verse. "piouis baloney" is a really useful phrase, and we should ALL be grateful to Gingrich for it (even if it may be applied to Gingrich himself on many things, like his "position" on illegal immigration).

P.S. No proofreading or spell checking (bad eyesight). Yes, it is phrases like this that make me wonder wehther Gingrich can again resurrect himself form the dead. My conclusinn, of years standing, that Newt Gingrich willl never be President of the United States sill seems to me to be safe, but sometimes Newt says things that cause me to have passing doubt. Actually, Newt says such thngs fairly often, but then I hear hm on other things, and my opinion is reaffirmed. He is problay now too obviously an angry, vindictive man (against Romney, and not becuase of this phrase, whch I find totally fair). In the end, I don't think that will play that well, even if CNN and the rest actually CRITICIZED Gingrich (pious hypocrites putting out pious baloney that they are) for NOT "fighitting back" in Iowa. Gingrich got NO "credit" form these "journalists" for his avoidance of negative attacks in Iowa, and Romney got NOT BLAME. Pious baloney. Chirs Wallace called that phrase "mean spirited". Pious baloney. BUT. Gingrich is putting out a lot of stuff now that IS "mean spirited". I am doubtful it can work. We shall see. isn't it nice how "objective" peole like Wallace (lol) are willing to call GINGRICH "mean spirited", and yet the unfair and unblanced netowrk was unwilling to really take on Romney over calling Gincrich "ZANY" (which I think really was mean spirited). Pious baloney all over the place.
