Claire McCaskill: Unqualified to be Vice President, Liar, and Idiot (Democrats WEAK Again)

"Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., said Palin's suggestion of war with Russia "sent chills down my spine."
"I'm not sure that Gov. Palin understands that right now, if that were to occur, we would have to institute a massive draft," McCaskill said.

Yes, Claire McCaskill has shown herself a liar and an idiot--unqualified to be Vice President, Senator, or dogcatcher of Mt. Ida, Arakansas (where I spent most of the first 12 years of my lie.  The despicable AP, meanwhile, simply showed itself unqualified to be a "news" organization (but what else is new).  The above statement by Democratic Senator McCaskill is an OUTRIGHT LIE.  As I have said repeatedly:

Leftists lie. They lie often  They lie routinely, and as a matter of course. They lie without guilt, and in a "higher" cause than truth. They lie because they think the end justifies the means.

As set forth in my earlier entry last night on the AOL similar LIE (I KNOW these people like Clair McCaskill, and I knew what was coming), sarah Palin did NOT "suggest" "war with Russia".  She did not even bring up the idea of war with Russian.  Charles Gibson (yes, it was a leftist setup, because leftists do not like the idea of actually standing up to any of our enemies) SUGGESTED WAR WITH RUSSIA.

You say I am exaggerating.  Yes, I am, but at least I am not OUTRIGHT LYING, as these people are about Sarah Palin.  Charles Gibson first asked whether Palin would let Georgia and Ukraine join NATO (as to which other NATO countries--those EUROPEANS that Obama and ABC like so much--have the VOTES).  Palin said that she would definitely want Ukraine in NATO, and said she would like Georgia to be allowed to join NATO as well (although Palin ws clearly more emphatic about the Ukraine).  This was the Charles Gibson setup.  The next question was the goal.

Gibson then suggested to Palin hat if Georgia were in NATO, the U.S. would have to go to WAR if Russia attacked Georgia (CAHRLES GIBSON "suggesting" war with Russia).  Gibson then asked, basically, whether Paline was prepared to face that eventuality.

NOte the HYPOTHETICALS here.  Georgia is NOT a member of NATO.  The EUROPEAN members of NATO are going to have to agree before Georgia becomes a member of NATO.  There may be conditions imosed before that ever happens.  Finally, and most important, Russia has NOT INVADED GEORGIA WHEN GEORGIA IS A MEMBER OF NATO.  That is important, because the whole idea of Gerorgia and Ukraine joining NATO is to PREVENT WAR.  There is probably MORE chance of war if we give PUTIN (of Russia) the idea that it can invade the countries around it without consequences.  It is Hitler and Czechoslovakia all over again (Neville Chamberlain:  "peace in our time" as he made the decisions that GUARANTEED World War II.

All of the above is necessary prelude to discussing Palin's answer, which could NOT "suggest" war with Russian, because MULTIPLE hypotheticals were in the question which might never come to pass.  That said, Palin gave an ACCCURATE answer to Gibson's hypothetical suggestion of possible war with Russia (which, again Palin never brought up herselfl).  Palin said that the NATO agreement requires NATO members to take action to defend other members who are ATTACKED.  So it does.  That is what Gibson knew the NATO agreement provided, and Palin merely confirmed it.  She said that we would be required to live up to our agreement.  Is that idiot, McCaskill, suggesting that we NOT live up to our agreements?  Plain did not stop there.  She said, however, that there may well be other measures that could be taken to respond to a Russian attack short of war.  She mentioned economic sanctions and diplomatic actions.

Tell me, Senator McCaskill, WHERE did Sarah Palin "suggest war"?  She did NOT.  You are a LIAR.  Palin simply confirmed that the NATO agreement provides for mutual defense.  Right NOW, if Russian attacked POLAND (a fromer member of the Soviet Union), we would have the SAME choices.  Does McCaskill want to tell Russia (and Putin) that we would NOT go to war over Poland?  No?  Well then, is McCaskill suggesting WAR with Russia?  It is the SAME hypothetical.  Yes, it is a consideration in inviting Georgia into NATO as to whether we want to be in the same position of defending Georgia as we are with Poland and Czechoslovakia.  But WHY tell Putin he has a free hand.  Even if we, and our wimpy European allies, decide we can't ultimately let Georgia into NATO without biting off more than we can chew (those same wimpy Europeans would have to JOIN us in "war" against Russia), we NEED to keep the possibility of Georgia josining NATO on the table for LEVERAGE with Putin.

Has McCaskiill checked with Obama.  OBAMA supports democratic Georgia against Russia.  Does that support not INCREASE the possibility of war with Russia?  Of course it does.  And if we make it clear to Putin that we do not MEAN it by pulling the rug out from under Georgia (with a signal that Georgia will not be invited to join NATO), we are ENCOURAGING Russia to keep putting pressure on--pressure that might lead to a wider war.

The above paragraph hast to do with the WISDOM of asking Georgia to join NATO, and at least keeping that as a distinct possibility.  It has nothing to do with "suggesting" war.  I am not "suggesting war".  Sarah Palin did not "suggest" war.  The only one who arguably "suggested war with Russia" was Charles Gibson.

Claire McCaskill and the despicable AP (see last night's entry about AOL based on an AP story, and the failure to challenge McCaskill in the AP story)  LIED.  They MDE THIS UP.  Is Claire McCaskill this STUPID.  Maybe.  But she is not really being stupid here.  She is being a deliberate LIAR.  She is acting on the leftist Democrat belief that the end justifies the means.

WHY do Democrats have the repoutation (deserved) of being WEAK on standing up against our enemies?  Thisis a perfect example.  McCaskill is deliberately tryig to distort a strong policy on Georgia, and standing up against Putin as WAR MONGERING--somehting it is not.  That lying statement of Senator McCaskill is the kind of encouragement Democrats keep giving our ENEMIES.  If they keep doing it, they will be FOREVER perceived as weak on foreingn policy.  You can't debate "issues", when you are trying to SCARE about "suggestions" of "war" that never were made.
