You may wonder why I have concentrated on the evil, sanctimious hypocrites at CNN (see previous entries today and yesterday, and all of last week), and only made passing references to MSNBC, when MSNBC is probably worse (certainly no better, although there seems to be a competition going right now as to which is worse).
There is only one reason. MSNBC is a dead network walking. Why bother? CNN is not in much better shape, but they still had a little residual credibility. They no longer have that, and are gong the way of MSNBC. But MSNBC has already reached the point of having LESS audience than a test pattern would have. So I ignore them (mostly).
P.S. Yesterday I mentioned that Keith Olbermann and Chirs Matthews are OUT at MSNBC as "news" anchors for election coverage, such as for the debates and election night. However, re-reading the entry, I get the feeling I may have left the wrong impression. As far as I know, Olbermann and Matthews are still ON MSNBC. They have just lost their positions as election news ANCHORS. As I stated, the equally bad Rachel Maddow has now jointed MSNBC, and it is not like NBC is rethinking its strategy. MSNBC is still DETERMINED to be the network of the LEFT. In fact, I think all of NBC has made that coice. NBC is owned by General Electric, which gives you a darn good reason not to buy GE products. MSNBC has made a CONSCIOUS decision to appeal to the far lett, which has taken over the whole left. What is funny is that CNN ha sput itself in the positon of COPETING for that limited audience. Yesterday, CNN and MSNBC seemed to be in a despearate competiton for which networkd could put on more, and more ridiculous, leftist vidoes from YouTube. So you have the leftist media COMPETING for a SMALL audience. What OTHER audience can CNN now get. It has burned its bridges. It has gone "all in", and declared itself for the far left. That is why I said that CNN can no longer win, no matter what happens in this election. Its time in history is gone. That of MSNBC never came at all.
