Democrats' Main Obsession: Social Issues (as Dishonest Jack Cafferty Cheers)

See my article on Dishonest Jack Cafferty and the CNN debate: my analysis of the AGENDA behind the CNN emphasis on "social issues"--while saying, at the same time, that social issues are NOT what people care about when the country is in danger of going down the drain.

Who is it that is telling you that you should let the country go down the drain, rather than let any Repubicans into office who may disagree with you on "social issues"? Right. It is DEMOCRATS. Doubt me? You really are a fool, aren't you Read my articles over the pat few days. And then realize that the DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL COMMITTEE proved me right, within less than 24 hous (not unusual for me).

Yes, the the DNC produced an AD featuring clips from the CNN debate. Now all the Repubicans did in the CNNN debate--all they really could do--was answer CN questions (whether disguised as coming from voters or not). Even so, Repuboicans talked about the economy and jobs a LOT in the debate (even though dishonest CNN made sure Mitt Romney got no direct questions on his plans for the economy). There were only a limited number of CNN questions on 'social issues"--although TWO of those were on "gay activist" issues, which are obviously MOST IMPROTANT to CNN. What the DNC did was take clips of ONLY Repulibcan answers on gay rights, abortion, religion (including the manufactured "issue" of bigotyry against MUSLIMS, as distinguished from the Democratic/mainstream media bigotry against CHRISTIANS). That is it. That was the entire ad. Nothing on Miichelle Bockman saying the lection is all about the economy. Nothing on ANYTHING except SOCIAL ISSUES.

Npe. It is DEMOCRATS who are OBSESSED with social issues, and with making those "issues' tghe most important issues in our election. Yes, that is mainly because Democrats know that they have RUINED the econmy of this country in a way that makes it difficult for the country to ever recover.

Does this mean Repubicans should GIVE IN on social issues--declare that Democrats are right--so as to try to "defuse" this Democrat tactic of trying to label Repubicans as "extremists" because of their positions on "social issues"? Forget it. That is a sure way to LOSE.--betraying your principles in an obvious attempt at victory at all cots. Further, that is STUPID. What Repubicans need to do is to CALL OUT DEMOCRATS ON THIS. Republicans ned to do wht I am dong (if not necessarily the angry way I am doing it): Point out that it is Dmoecrats and the mainstream media who are OBSESSED with social issues. Point out that you are RIGHT on social issues, and say where Democrats are wrong, but say that you undrstand why people believe that this election is about the FUTURE of this contry. You understand why people maynot consider some of the social issues the ost important facing the country at this time. But it is DEMOCRATS, and the media, who are telling people that they should let this contry BE DESTROYED, rather than vote for someone who may disgaree with them on a social issue. Point out that you hope you never think that way. Point out that you are going to continue to stand up for your beliefs, on ALL issues, but that you ar not going to tell ovters to SELL OUT this country because they disagree with a candidatge on abortion, or gay rights, or whatever.

That is the ONLLY way Repubicans can win, and I think it is a guaranteed way to win (if done right--isn't it neat how I blame the EXECUTION of this idea for any failure, rather than the idea itself). But note that this is NOT a TACTIC. This is how principled politicians should act. You should not SELL OUT your principles in a cynical attempt to win elections. That is what Dishonest Jack Cafferty--no friend of conservative Repubicans--is telling you to do. It is a LOSING thing to do.

But see how I was PROVEN correct? Did I not TELL you that Dishonest Jack Cafferty was spouting the partisan Democratic view (trying to associate Repubicans with what they think are UNPOPULAR, extreme positions on social issues, while ignoring the terrible economy). MSNBC confirmed that this is the Democrat party line tonight. And the DNC had already confirmed it yesterday. Nope. It is DEMOCRATS and the mainstream media who are OBSESSED with social issues, and they are so convinced that they can BULLY people on these issues that they are willing to try to convince peopole lthat they should dESTROY THE COUNTRY rather than let these crazy social conservatives get in (no matter how good they may be on economic issues).

By they way, you should not get the idea that I agree with Dishonest Jack Cafferty, the mainstream media, and Democrats that they are WINNERS on these social issues. I don't think the general public shares this Democrat/mainstream media obsession with SPECIAL GAY RIGHTS inconsistent with the thousands of years of human history ("homosexual marriage" being an oxymororn in terms of ALL of human history, up to about the last ten years). But this is even more obvious as to this Democrat/mainstream media obsession with MUSLIM RIGHTS. No, I see no reason to persecute Muslimms because of their religion. But there are an waful LOT of extremist Muslims out there willing to persecute US (non-Muslims). I don't think Americans are impressed by this manufactured outrage over our "tratment" of Muslims. I conside polls evil things, but you did not need the polls to know that the public agreed with ME--and most Repubicans--on the "Ground Zero Mosque", and NOT with the hand wringers of the mainstream media and Democratic Party who wanted to say that America was a BAD contry if it reacted so badly to Muslims (not, of course, the issue at all). Democrats are gong to be SHOCKED at the result, if they try hard to make the USA an EVI country for the way we treat Muslims (who are well treated in this country). Same on illegal immigration. Democrats are on the WRONG side on almost all of these issues (specifically including their position that abortion should be legal up to the moment of birth). That, however, does not change that it is DEMOCRATS who are so BOSESSED with these issues that they apparently suggest people should be willing to see this country destroyed lrather than vote for someone who disagrees with them on one of these issues.

P.S. No proofreading, or spell checking (bad eyssight). And yes, Dishonest Jack Cafferty still has the online--this blog's--award of THE WEINER to look forward to. I am sure that will make this entire year.
