Global Cooling Ahead as the SUN Cools?

Today's AOL propaganda story on the religion of "global warming" is again about a 19 square mile sheet of Ice that has broken off in Canada.  U have commented on these recurrent propaganda stories before. Sheets of ice--BIG sheets of ice--break off all of the time.  It is a normal occurrence.  You might remember the Titanic (not a big sheet of ice, of course, but icebergs often represent ice that has broken off of a more extensive ice sheet.

Meanwhile, while AOL chooses to HYPE this "global warming" propaganda, a more significant recent story went completely unnoticed.  In a recent month, there was NO observable sunspot activity on the sun.  This has only happened 4 known times in previous history (don't ask me how they are sure about sunspots long ago).  In all four of those times, significant  COOLING followed for the Earh.  Once, a "mini-ice age happened.
Are we heading for global COOLING?  There is certainly no evidence that the Earth is continuing to WARM.  This year was predicted to be a COOLER year for the Earth, in contrast with recent warm years, and will not be a record warm year for the U.S.   Of course, nothing is new about the latter.  1936 REMAINS the warmest year for the U., in a virtual tie with 2006.

I note that, despite propaganda predictions, I have NOT seen any story about the polar ice cap fully MELTING.  I could have missed it, of course, since in would have not real effect on antything if it happened one summer.  But--say it ain't so--maybe the polar ice cap DID NOT FULLY MELT this summer.  If so, don't expect a major news story.

P.S. More careful reading of the whole AP propaganda story revealed the following phrase:    "a near record loss for Arctic sea ice this summer."  Translation, for those of you not used to interpreting AP "global warming" propaganda:  Arctic sea ice has melted MORE in some previous year or years than it melted this year.  That is exactly what I expected, even though these SAME people tried to suggest early in the summer that ALL arctic sea ice "might" melt this year.
