European Regulators Curb Short Selling. Do They Read this Blog?

I have already shwon this week that CNBC reads this blog. Now it appears that European stock market regulators read this blog.

Yes. This blog called , this very week, for the BANNING OF SHORT SELLING. I noted that, for hundreds of years, short selling has been involved in most "market manipulation" scandals. Whatever gain in "liquidity" there is has to be regarded as offset by the DANGERS of allowing "naked' short selling of borrowed stock. As I ahvwe told lyou, the ECONOMIC FASCISTS on Wall Street do NOT really believe in the free market now, if they ever did Yet, they "circle the wagons" every time that someone suggests restricting short selling, which has NOTHING to do with free market theory. It is just somehthing that stock market peole WANT to do, on the hypocritical theory that THEIR freedom is important--while the rest of us shold be CONTROLLED by a partnership between Wall Street and Big Government--with special consideration being given to bailing out Wall Street when they happen to need it.

Well, an item of "news" tonight--although it is not clear how much of it is rumor--is that the people of the European Union are going to impose severe restrictions on short selling. Good for them. In today's world of high frequency MACHINE TRADING, we simply cannot afford to allow short selling. Let traders use options. Short selling, especailly with computers, is too big an invitaitn to market manipulation.

See. You did not know how much influence this blog really has. European central bankers AND CNBC check this blog every day. And I have not even gotten into Ru;sh Limbaug, and the politicians who secretly rely on this blog (even as they get mad at this blog refusing to give ANY politican a pass).

Hacker Boy (continuing to try to limit the damage from this digraceful blog, and I still have no comment on Skip's allegations that I am connected to Rupert Murcoch): "If you believe this megalomania of Skip, you need a psychiatrist. Skip seems to get amazingly lucky about anticipating some of these things, but NO ONE pays any attention to him--not even is daughters. Be wrned. The ravings above--the claims as to the influence of this disgraceful blog--are entirely in Skip's head."

P.S. No proofreading or spell checking (bad eyesight). By the way, I resent Hacker Boy dissing the influence of this blog. I will have you all know that I was once BIG in The Netherlands,. No, I am not making this up, althogh it happened back when this blog was young. This blog was actually quoted in a Dutch NEWSPAPER (9n global warming). And I was once quoted by the Boston Phoenix. Am I a "has been" (not being aware of any recent instances of this blog being actually quoted)? Mabye I would have thought so, but now we have the European Union and CNBC obviously reading this blog (although without publicly adimitting it).
