Yes, the media, and leftists, are in full pro-Barack Obama mode by trying to overhype a few bizarre, offensive statements by an "evangelical" "leader" (Hagy). McCain properly rejected the views, although this trend of candidates "rejecting" endorsements is a little disturbing. That is, what is disturbing is the idea that a candidate has to affirmatively reject the views of every supporter, and affimratively "reject" the endorsement of every supporter who has made indefensible statements. That concept merely encourages the bizarre game (almost as bizarre as the statements of this preacher) polical game of INVESTIGATING the supporters of a candidate to try to find statements the supporters may have made for purposes of confronting the candidate with those statements. Enough. We KNOW the real agenda here, which is to try to defuse the REverend Wright problem of Barack Obama.
Is this in any way simiar to Reverend Wright? Nope, it is not, despite the attempt by the despicable Associated Press (and rest of mainstream media) to play it up MORE than they played up the Reverend Wright matter (especially initially). Hagy never was, of course, McCain's pastor, and they were never close.
Thie problem with Barack Obama is NOT that Reverend Wright endorsed HIM. The problem is that Barack Obama ENDORSED Reverend Wright, by supporting him for 20 years when Obama had to know about his HAT SPEECH.
This is, rather, equivalnet to HAMAS endorseing Obama, or perhaps to Farrakhan endorsing Obama (and endorsement he rejected). A candidate can't realy control, or know th veiws of, every person or group whe ednorses the candidate. A candiate CAN contol who is pastor is.
