Propaganda and the Associated Press

The Associated Press, and AOL, do not even try to conceal their agenda any longer.  There is an AP story this evening (I could never make this up) about how the recent GOOD economic news is not as good as it appears.  I kid you not.  The story does nothing but try to pick apart the recent IMPROVING economic numbers--unconvincingly, I might ad, unless you misconstured the numbers in the first place.

What is a "mirage" is the vision of the truly despicable Associated Press as an "objective" "news" organization. In fact, it is a IRAGE that the despicable AP is a "news" organization at all. It is a PROPAGANDA organization (as is AOL "News"), with an AGENDA in every story. Here the agenda is obvious.

Did ANYONE say the econoic news was great? Nope. The despicable Associated Press created a straw man, and then proceeded to knock it down. The economic news was good because it was not BAD. the eoncomy is still growing (no recession, although it is not material whether we grew a little--as we did--or contracted a little). 5% used to be considered pretty much FULL employment, and is as good or better than MOST of the Clinton years. Jobs stopped disappearing, although there was no job growth. The stock market has actually been holding up pretty well. In short, the EVIDENCE is that the economy is poised to REBOUND from an admitted slowdown.  In other words, the economy is NOT getting WORSE, and is maybe getting a little better.

The stimulus checks just went out. This DOOM and GLOOM is meraly proof of an agenda (you never see the story about how the economy is not as BAD as Democrats and the media are painting it, do you?).
