John McCain and Hilary Clinton: Running Mates?

What would be a real "dream" ticket for the (non-kook) left in this country?  It woululd probably be for JOHN MCCAIN to choose HILLARY CLINTON as his Vice Presidential nominee--the ultimate UNITY ticket.

Yes, the picture this brings to mind is at furst absurd, and will not happen.  However, you have to admit that the (nightmare) picture that comes to mind when this "idea" is turned over in your mind seems RIGHT.  It would be a "perfect" (sarcasm) end for a nightmare year for conservatives.

As I have said before, it is McCain that has a RECORD of reaching "across the aisle"--not Obama.  It would be a final, approprate insult to conservatives by McCain, who has made a career out of insulting conservatives.

Oh, it is a fantasy/nightmare that will not happen.  Once in your head, however, the picture just won't go away.  I know.  I have tried to make it go away.

P.S.  I don't deserve credit/blame for this one.  Dennis Miller actually "suggested" that McCain pick Hillary Clinton in discussing how Clinton feminists are beginning to realize how SEXIST the Democratic Party has been this electiion.

P.S. 2:  As readers of this blog know, I believe (in my own version of Rush Limbaugh's "Operation Chaos", that conservatives, Republicans, and even the country would be better off with a (failed) Clinton Presidency that with a (likely) failed McCain Presidnecy.  That means that I think Hillary Clinton winning the Presidency would have been the bast result possible for conservatives, once McCain was nominated (presumptively).  However, a McCain/Clinton ticket would be the WORST result possible, as conseratism would be tottally routed without even the "benefits" of a failed Clinton Presidency.
