Hillary Clinton: Media/Obama/DNC Try To Force Her OUT

Yes, I believe (as I have for some time) that Obama is going to win the Democratic nomination for President, and that last night's result pretty much sent Hillary Clinton's last chance to reverse the result down the tubes.  But, unlike the media, that does not keep me form looking at things clearly, rather than through the lens of hysteria and hype.

The media is breathtaking in its incompetence (not to mention open rooting for things like candidates to drop out, and Barack Obama for President).

WHY should Hillary Clinton "drop out" NOW?  There is no reason (unless she's just tired, and ready to give up).  She has two probably GOOD states for her ahead, that do not require mcuh money (the other legitimate reason, as distinguished from an incompetent media's FICTIONAL reasons, for her to drop out NOW).

Something might happen.  The Resco matter might blow up.  A tape of Obama conspiring with Reverend Wright to become President might come out.  There might be an Eliot Spitzer moment.  No, I don't have any reason to believe any of those particular things will happen, but who knows?

Again, the media "analysis" is simplly INCOMPETENT.

P.S.  See my own analysis last night of the present state of our politics, and of the conservative cause.  Okay, it was pretty downbeat.  Again, however, I do not believe in constructing fantasy castles in the sky.  John McCain is just not, despite his military record, a visionary policial LEADER who is going to bring conservatives together with a coherent and consistent message.  I don't think he even believes in having a coherent, consistent philosophy, if it stands in the way of his goal of "solving problems".  His problem to "solve" is that you don't LEAD a political movement as a Henry Kissinger type "expert" at getting things done.  Ronald Reagan led a political movement, as did the conservative Republicans on 1994.  No such leader is around today.  Even Gingrich has betrayed to a significant degree, the spirit of the 1994 Republican revolution (and did, even before he left as speaker).  Would I vote for Gingrich for President, if he were running?  Sure I would, even though I think he would have no chance of winning.  I just don't think he is a conservative leader ready to lead us to the Promised Land, and out of the wilderness exile into whichwe are heading.  There are some rumors of a few such leaders possibly out there, but they have not really surfaced.  It  may take a total leftist takeover (see last night's entry) to bring them to the fore.   Rush Limbaugh is a "leader" of sorts, but even he admits (when he is not playing around) that he, and the other conservative radio hosts, cannot substitute for a POLITICAL LEADER.  As I have said during this campaign, I think Limbaugh let down conservatives by failing to recognize the need for LEADERSHIP (and to stop McCain) long before he did,  He did not really "endorse" Romney until the eve of the Florida primary, which was way TOO LATE (as this blog said in FORESIGHT, and not in hindsight).  It is not that Romney strikes me as an inspiring leader.  He does not.  But he would have been an acceptable substitute until the real thing came along.  John McCain is not.
