I am warming up to the nickname of Barack "Spanish" Obma. Has not Obama EARNED this nickname by suggesting that parents should worry about their children speaking Spanish instead of about immigrants speaking English. The fact that Obama, to my knowledge, does NOT speak Spanish makes the nickname even more appropriate, in my view (in the spirit of "Tiny"--a nickname usually given to a HUGE person).
What do we know about Barack Obama? Not much. But one think we know is that he does not like people to use his middle name ("Hussein", if you have forgotten). This CRIES out for a nickname to substitute for a middle name.
I have about decided. Barack Obama is on the verge of being known forever after (in this blog, but that means everywhere as the idea takes hold) as Barack "Spanish" Obama.
