Hurricane Bertha, R.I.P.; Mainstream Media, R.I.P.

Hurricane Bertha is now DYING in the Atlantic, despite the mainstream media ROOTING for it, and hyping it to a ridiculous degree.  It never threatened land, despite media attempts to suggest that it did.

Did you ever wonder why so many people view today's mainstream media with such total, complete CONTEMPT.

Consider the recent HYPE of storms.  This summer alone there have been MAJOR, headline stories about the "first" PACIFIC hurricane; about a MINIMAL tropical storm off of the coast of AFRICA (I think named Beth--"naming" of ALL storms should return to using female names, in the interest of accuracy and appropriateness); and now this HYPE of NOTHING hurricane Bertha.  The streghthening to a category 3 hurricane was unmercifully hyped, as this "first" hurricane of the Atlantic season was followed, WITH OVERBLOWN HYPE, from formation to death?.

This was a hurricane that was NEVER a danger to a major land mass, and was never a verly firm threat to even Bermuda.  It is now WEAKENING, and a threat to NO ONE.

It does not get ahy worse than this.  Remember the story of the boy who cried "WOLF"?  WHY should you believe a word the mainstream media says--about hurricanes or anything else?  You SHOULDN'T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P.S.  Are mainstream media people, especcially with the anti-American, despicable Associated Press, EVIL people?  I think there is certainly a case for it.  How else can you describe people who ROOT for hurricanes, AND "reach" for every opportunity to portray the U.S.A. in a negative light.
