Iraq: Electrical "Shock" Shows Victory at Hand

" Inferior electrical work by private contractors on U.S. military bases in Iraq is more widespread than the Pentagon has acknowledged, according to a published report."

Does it surprise you that the "published report" is nothing but a partisan report of one of those Senate panels being used by Democrats to attack the Bush Administration and the effort in Iraq?  Of course it should not surprise you, when you realize the above is from another one of those featured AOL stories from the "anti-american, Despicable Associated Press" (always use official name in first reference.

The above shows that we indeed are WINNING in Iraq.   Indeed, the above story shows such DESPERATION on the part of Democrats and the AP that it indicates they think we have virtually WON in Iraq.

Have you been awake at night worrying about "inferior electrical work" in Iraq?  I hope not.  Are you going to be kept up at night worrying about it NOW?  I hope not.  If you ARE, then it just proves you are an insane leftist.

I hardly think it's nothing more than a partisan report.  The wiring is so faulty that, last I heard, 13 servicemen had died from electrocution, and this wiring has caused more than 200 fires, killing 2 more servicemen.  Of course, that was days ago, so it may also have gone up since then.  So I suppose that makes me an insane leftist, because that does have me concerned.  It's one thing to die for your country in the line of duty, but another entirely to die because an overpaid contractor did such shoddy work.

It makes you an "insane leftist" to accumulate statistics FROM ALL TYPES of elctric problems and fires OVER 5 YEARS, and then try to use that to try to discredit the entire Iraq War.  The Federal Government is INEFFICIENT (yes, in the mlitary too, but we HAVE to have a military).  I have noted that leftists fit the definition of insanity with regard to the Federal Government:  Continuing to want MORE Federal Government, expecting a DIFFERENT result. It all has nothing to do with Iraq, which explains THIS report, rather than a report on ALL fires/electrical problems in the military, or about the NUMEROUS other problems with the way the Federal Government operates--including the incredible stupidities in Katrina aid AFTER we started throwing money at New Orleans and the victims.

Well, I can't say I've seen this used to attack the war, just KBR.  The 15 deaths I've heard about are all directly attributable to work done by a single company.  I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with the report you cite, as attacking the administration and the war.  If you have a link, or know where I could find it, it would be much appreciated.
