Chicago and Barack Obama: The Legacy Continues

"Isn't the legacy that BarAuthorities found the bodies of five young people Wednesday inside a ransacked house on Chicago's South Side, raising the body count in an already violent spring, police said."  (from the present AP/AOL lead)

Body count?

ack Obama left in Chicago impressive and heartwarming?

Then thre is that vote in the Illinois legislature opposing the death penalty for gang murders.

Where is the evidence that Obama has been a positive force for Illinois or Chicago?  I guess you coud say that he HAS brought the people of Chicago together (in murderous frenzy and hate--come to think of it, in the grand tradition of Reverend Wright's encouragement of hate).

We know that Obama favors giving up on Iraq, where we appear to be doing better than we are in Chicago.  Does he favor WITHDRAWAL from Chicago?
