McCain: The Despicable Associated Press Flails Around

"Republicans are no longer underdogs in the race for the White House. To pull that off, John McCain has attracted disgruntled GOP voters, independents and even some moderate Democrats who shunned his party last fall."

The above is TODAY'S AP story on AOL (given in a rather depressed tone).  YESTERDAY'S AP story on AOL was to the effect that McCain was too liberal for some vocal conservatives, who he is NOT "winning over" (I guess that is ME).  The AP  story the DAY BEFORE YESTERDAY was that McCain was actually TOO CONSERVATIVE to be considered "independent".

This story is FUNNY from the truly despicable Associated Press.

You may not realize how funny it is.   I posted comments under two separate AP stories on AOL in the past two days.  The first story was an attempted ainti-McCain smear story about how McCain may realy be a conservative (HORROS!!!), as he says he is, instead of the "independent" he is reputed to be (parse THAT one, if you want to be totally confused).

The very next day, the Associated Press had another non-news, anti-McCain item about how some conservatives in Arizona still hate McCain because he is not a conservative.  I suggested, in still another AOL comment, that the despicable Associated Press should make up its leftist mind.  Is McCain to be avoided by conservatives because he is not conservative, and by independents because he is conservative?   In the twisted "mind" of AP writers, that makes sense, because they think--like Barack Obama--that they can FOOL all of teh people all of the time.

Problem (as I correctly predicted in my posts under the AP/AOL articles):  You can't hurt McCain with those kinds of non-news stories.  Now comes this story PROVING me right.  I think it is FUNNY.

The AP writies have to be tearing their hair out.  They carefully craft these agenda driven, if self-contradictory,  non-news stories (that MIGHT have been a little newsworthy in the contested PRIMARIES, when the AP deliberately ignored most anti-McCain "news",  but are now pretty much irrelevant).  Then they are forced to run a story the very next day PROVING that their previous stories really were stupid (in terms of being "important news").

The despicable AP really has become a total joke.
