Food: Have Environmentalists Committed a Crime Against Humanity?

One of today's alarmist AOL featured stories is an Associated Press story about the "rationing" of rice by warehouose outlets like Sam's Club  (Wal-Mart) stores.  Since the Associated Press is about agenda, and not "news", the story gives no real information--as illulstrated by the segue into an opinion poll on the "concern" of people about rising "grocery prices".  All of this is merely another confirmation of how this blog is always right.  Environmentalists sold the fraud of "biofuels", and that is diverting resources from the production of food (even though rice is not really a biofuel).   I have been telling you about the expected rise in the price of food for MONTHS, and the blame should squarely be placed on the environmentalists, "global warming" fanatics, and Al Gore--where the blame belongs.  Don't expect to see the AP tell you about that.

Do you wonder why I say that the Associated Press has no honor (see previous day's blog entries)?.

This AP story, saying almost NOTHING and blowing smoke, is a perfect example.

What is the reaction of the despicable Associated Press to rising food prices, including the rise in the price of rice?  It is to cite a POLL on the "concern" of people about the rise in grocery prices, as if alleged OPINION was "news".  This tells you that the AP story is really all about the AGENDA of discrediting the Bush Administration, and Republicans, for not "protecting" people from high foold prices.

Meanwhile, I have been PREDICTING the rise in food prces for MONTHS in "The Maverick Conservative".  I have, for those same months, been citing a U.N. official's description of BIOFUELS as a CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY.

Have environmentalists committed a CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY? You bet.  This whole fraud of "global warmng" is creating a "food crisis", AND ruining the economy.  And then the same environmentalists will ask what HARM it does to be "green".  The harm is to DESTROY US.

Even Time Magazine and The New York Times have referred to the "scam" of biofuels.  By actually subsidizing biofuels, because of the campaign of environmentalists for them, we are taking food out of the mouths of poor all around the world.  And that is not all.  The effect of environmentalist scare tactics, and the fraud of "global warming", has been to put incrasing burdens and costs on our economy, as this is used as an excuse to place more and more government regulation (not to mention attempted central planning allocation of resources).

The result is increased cost of EVERYTHING, and the creation of enormous handicaps for our economy.

Environmentlaists (of the leftist, radical kind and those, like McCain who cave to those people) have a lot to answer for.  Will we ever have calls for them to be tried in the World Court for their crimes against humanity?  I doubt it  That is a leftist thing.  But they are committing irrevocable harm in the name of "the environment", and you will continue to hear about it here (if not from the AP, or AOL).

P.S.  I continue to hope that environmentalists may yet be laid low by the skyrocketing cost of BEEER.  ONce people realize that beer prices are rising because of the "central planning" advocated by environmentalists, and attempted by Congress, we may yet have a real revolt.  To many people, beer is serious stuff (more serious than mere world hunger).  The diversion of resources away from growing of hops and grain--into biofuels--has, indeed, raised the price of beer.  There are serious articles to that effect.
