"The House voted Thursday to hold two of President Bush's confidants in contempt for failing to cooperate with an inquiry into whether a purge of federal prosecutors was politically motivated."
You won't find out from the above lead paragraph by the despicable Associated Press, but the two "consultants in question were former White House counsel Harriet Myers and Josh Bolton. What is "politically motivated", of course, is this ridiculoously extended, overhyped Democrat effort to somehow CRIMINALIZE the perfectly legal firing of some U.S. attorneys (where it does not even matter if there was some poltical "motivation" involved--the people are political appointees, as illustrated by the fact that President Clitnon fired essentially ALL (93) of them when he took office).
More of that Obama "bring us together" spirit coming out in Democrats--NOT. Is anyone ASKING Obama what he thinks of these DIVISIVE things Congressional Democrats are doing?
In my continuing attempt to expose leftist (non) thinking to the light of day, here is an AOL comment to the sentence above, and my response:

Why is trying to enforce the law divisive? Oh, that's right, because the Bush administration breaks the law and the Republicans are trying to protect him. That's why...."
Problem: NO ONE has shown any reason why firing U.S. attorneys, who serve at the pleasure of the President--President Clinton fired them ALL, "broke the law". This is just an attempt to CRIMINALIZE politics--a naked power play meant to DIVIDE.
