McCain SMEARS Begin

Another correct prediction by this blog.  Oh, it was not a unique prediction, or at all difficult.  It was still correct.  One of the entertainments of this election is to watch the shameful contortions of leftists, who said GOOD things about McCain before he secured the Republican nomination, trying to SMEAR McCain without making it obvous that they are lyihng hypocrites trying to practive the "politics of personal destruction".  Then there is the delicious irony of McCain receiving this treatment from the mainstream media to which he pandered.

You will remember that the New York Times ENDORSED McCain for the Republican nomination--slaying some glowing things about him.  Here are the first two paragraphs of a present New York Times story (linked on drudgereport.com)--a story that the New York Times had in DECEMBER (without affecting its endorsement of McCain, or publishing when it might have affected the nominatioin:

"Early in Senator John McCain’s first run for the White House eight years ago, waves of anxiety swept through his small circle of advisers.

A female lobbyist had been turning up with him at fund-raisers, in his offices and aboard a client’s corporate jet. Convinced the relationship had become romantic, some of his top advisers intervened to protect the candidate from himself — instructing staff members to block the woman’s access, privately warning her away and repeatedly confronting him, several people involved in the campaign said on the condition of anonymity."

What a SHAMEFUL smear (except that the mainstream media has no shame). This is BACK FENCE GOSSIP--nothing but vicious rumors from the usual "anonymous sources", with nothing but salacious INNUENDO.

I refuse to go any further.  This is such an obvious SMEAR using an eight year old RUMOR (not important, even if there were some basis for it).  If you don't see that, you need more help than I can give you.

I post this entry only to show you how DESPICABLE the mainstream media really is--the PRIMARY agents of the "poltics of personal destruction", and "dirty politics", in this country today.

As you know, I am not interested in promoting McCain (who I have consistently said I will not vote for).  But, even in the nomination process when I was strongly for Romney, Iwould NEVER have stooped this low.  You will notice that conservatives, including conservative talk show hosts, generally did NOT stoop this low.

Nothing is too low for the mainstream media--many of whom are gleefully repeating this deisgraceful smear.  These (media people) are the scum of the earth.  They deserve total contempt (for lack of a stronger phrase).

Did I mention that thee is not even any solid evidemce of a McCain affair (as if it would matter anyway)?  No evidence of improoper conduct?  All INNUENDO?

"Scum of the earth" is just not strong enough.   Slimy worms crawling in the scum of the earth? My imagination is just not good enough to fully describe how bad these people are (CNN, MSNBC, and others are now spreading this disgraceful smear).  Drudge is spreading it, but only with the SARCASTIC headline:  "Now that nomination is secure, New York Times downloads on McCain."

If you really wish to do something about the "politics of personal destruction" in this country, you really need to start CONDEMNING the mainstream media in this country (and ignoring them).
