On this one, I KNOW what happened. The Associated Press, Democrats, and leftists tried to PERSECUTE Blackwater U.S.A. (private security firm in Iraq) as part of their vendetta against the Iraq War and the Bush Administration.
During one 30 day period, the despicable AP had a "Blackwater story", or more than one, essentially every day. The story was always overblown, and the public was uninterested in persecuting a company trying to protect Americans in Iraq.
IF leftists think they can get more milleage out of Blackwater, you may see it come up again (or maybe some real facts will come out about wrongdoing by the company). Otherwise, this story has gone to the grave because it was dead before it was alive.
