Obama, Fox News Talk, and Obama's Typical White Grandmother: Flying, Fickel Finger of Fate Tim

Yes, we again have co-winners of this blog's weekly "Flying, Fickle Finger of Fate" award ("the Finger")--reincarnated from the old Laugh In" award for conspicious stupidity during a week.  This week's WINNERS are:  Barack Obama and Fox News Talk--co-winners again because the supitidity out there is too massive for just one winner in most weeks.

Barack Obama, of course, is a deserving winner for his comment about his "typical white woman" grandmother--a comment which alone would have forced a white politician to bow out of the race, if made about a "typical black woman".  Obama made clear how much racial bitterness is under his facade of a call for "racial unity", as he suggested thay a "typical white woman", such as his grandmother, has an " inbred" fear of black men they may meet of the street (presumably because our racist society  has "bred" it into them--luckily without too many white preachers spewing hate any longer in their churches, such as the hate Obaman mentor Reverend Wright has spewed in his church).

It may be argued that, faced with a bar this high, Fox News Talk does not come cloe to rising to Obama's level of stupidity.  That may be true, but they ANNOY ME, and I am deciding the winners  (if Obama can ignore democracy, and the right to vote, in Michigan and Florida, I feel entitled to be autocratic in my "rules" for this award).

Fox News Talk (whatever that is) keeps having this "minute" propaganda items interjected into the radio station I listen to (Rush is on it).  These segments are called:  "Tips on what you can do about global warmng".  Of course this is "global warming" prop[aganda.  I have told you before that Fox News is part of the mainstream media PROBLEM, and NOT part of the "solution".  This kind of thing is meant to suggest that you are a kook if you consider "global warming" to be ridiculous (see mutliple entries in this blog).  Further, the "tips" are stupid.  Then there is the really outrageous suggestion in one "tip" that, whether you believe in "global warming" or not, you still need to do these things (WHY call them "global warming"tips then?).

Nope.  This is OUTRAGEOUS.  Fox News Talk is a DESERVING co-winner of the Flying, Fickle Finger of Fate this week.  To show HOW deserving, consider today's "cool" tip (could NOT make this stuff up:  Fox News Talk you are DESPIECABLY STUPID).   It quoted the statistic how how many FARMS have disappeared in the U.S. since 1935, and suggested joining some organization to support "organic farming" and local farms (really could not make this stuff up:  Fox News Talk you can't imagine how much contempt I feel for the people and organization behind this junk).

Does the reduction in farms since 1935 have ANYTHING to do with "global warming"?  Of coure not.  It is absurd to even suggest that.  Coincidentally, 1936 remains the WARMEST year in the U.S. since 1880.  We have COOLED since 1936 (dust bowl years of the Great Depression).   That aside, of coure, big farming operations have pretty much done in the "family farm"--nothing to do with "global warming".  While this may be a leftist/"green" cause, it is a FRAUD to connect this with a "tip" on combatting "global warmnig".

Barack Obama and Fox News Talk:  This award is for YOU (imagine here the presentation by Dick Martinof the statuette of an INDEX finger);  you DESERVE it.
