AOL and Associated Press: How Despicable Can They Get?

"Baghdad Rocked As McCain, Cheney Visit"

I really can't make this stuff up.  The above is the AP/AOL headline today, and the lead, about the separate visits of VP Cheney and John McCain to Iraq.  You ask:  "What "rocked" Bagdad?"  You might well ask, because the AP doesn't know (at least in the early versions of this story).  Yes, the despicable Associated Press considers UNKNOWN EXPLOSIONS heard in Bagdad to be major "news", overshadowing the substance of McCain's and Cheney's visits to Iraq.

The Associated Press, and AOL, are just so despicable.  They prove it every single day.  This "story" is a case in point.

For the despicable Associated Press, and AOL, it is a MAJOR STORY (outwieighing the substantive news of what McCain and Cheney say or do in Iraq) that there were UNKNOWN EXPLOSIONS in Bagdad.  Who could make this stuff up.  The despicable AP and AOL have become parodies of themselves.

Talk about being press agents for terrorists!!!!  Do you realize that all it takes for terrroists to get major headlines in the U.S. is blow up some bombs in a VACNAT LOT?  No, I don't know it it was in a vacant lot, but neither does the AP.
