Obama: Denouncing Himself

This speech on race divisiveness is not the first time Obama has denoucned himself.

As I have desc ribed previosly in this blog, Obama addressed his "qualifications" for a Presidential run in a interview about the time he was being elected to the Senate.  At that time, Obama disclaimed any interest in a Presidential run because he would be "uncomfortable" with asking people to vote for him with as little experience as he had--especially when he would have to start running before he even had a chance to accomplish anything as a Senator.

The difference there is that Obama denounced himself (describing the arrogance of running before he had proved himself) before the fact, instead of after the fact.

It is abundantly clear:  Obama just wants people to vote for him solely on the basis of what he NOW says, and to "trust him" that his speeches reflect who he really is, and what he can really do, withoout any evidence to support that.
